Great review. Styling aside, T7 has a more versatile interior space than the new ID Buzz. It has over 4000 litres of cargo volume compare to ID Buzz Cargo's 3900 Litres. And most importantly it has those full length floor rails which the new ID Buzz simply doesn't have.

Does it come from the factory with solar on top to charge the batt pack on days when you don't drive it or when you have it parked at work? With that much roof space you could easily get ten to twenty miles a day of free charge from the sun.

Err no. You would need far more solar panels than the roof allows for 10 to 20 miles per day.

There are areas of certain cities that are free to drive into with a low-emission vehicle. Otherwise there is a cost.

The ID Buzz has been a great disappointment. Embarrassing to admit it but I’ve been waiting since the 2001 Microbus concept and now it’s finally here I find I’m more interested in this Caravelle successor. The Buzz doesn’t have the rails or the modular set-up, has smaller capacity and a raised lip in the boot. It’s basically a tall estate. I’m ordering a Multivan Life PHEV in the next week, assuming the test drive goes well, and am very happy with my choice, even if I do need to wait until the end of the year for it arrive.

Same for me, as I have also waited since 2001 for the Microbus, and I too was dispointed that the rail system was missing in the Buzz. T7 it is, order going in today.

Why stupid? I have one on my last two Sorento's and I love them. Pan roof definitely high on my priority list when I change again.
