@@hoshitore I just watched the video carefully. I am always amazed how detailed and easy to understand they are, and the structure is excellent. Your skills are also amazing for a non-volleyball player, I wish to be as good as you! Your next video about body movement sounds very helpful and I look forward to watching! The English subtitles were very good. One slight error is at 7:05, where it says "You might think that this posture doesn't transfer power well, but it doesn't" - the 2nd "doesn't" should actually be "does". I hope this will maybe help in future.

@@benfrancis-hew5451 Thank you so much for teaching me! It was very helpful!
This is the technique I use to generate topspin on the ball. I am just amazing how I've been subconsciously doing it the whole time, but in this video, its broken down perfectly. It's not only fascinating, but remarkable that you are able break down the physics behind the serve.

I want your "science of overhand setting" video
@hoshitore Жыл бұрын
I would like to explain overhand setting someday, but that's probably a long way off.😥 I've received a lot of requests for other sports competitions (golf, tennis, baseball, track and field, etc.), so I'll be making videos for those as well. I would like to create it as soon as possible, so I would appreciate it if you could wait patiently.

sim! Se você jogar a bola para cima e acertá-la com rotação, poderá acertar uma bola com uma rotação de impulso muito poderosa!

Thank you for your videos! As you made this video for young players, it would be awesome to share your thoughts about: - why you can use this technique? - what benefits this technique can give comparing to the normal no-spin touch? - pros and cons of this technique in general. I guess you may find this thoughts kind of obvious, but still it may help youngsters with better understanding of the game situation. Greetings from Russia 🙃
@hoshitore Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! This technique is used by players who are short in height and have low jumping ability to return the ball to the opponent's court with some force. I don't think it will be used in many matches. If you have a high RBI and can hit the spike from above the net, I think it's better to hit it normally. This technique involves hitting from below the net, so I will explain the advantages of hitting from below the net. If you can apply drive rotation like this, the ball will fall lower than a non-rotating ball, so even if you hit it relatively hard, it is less likely to go out. The disadvantage is that your score will be lower. This way of hitting will result in lower points than the normal way of hitting. It's difficult to explain with just words, so I apologize if it's hard to understand.
