Another Florida brand is neat to hear. I never think of us as being much of an industrial state but we have Knights, Moriarti, Kel-Tec, Diamondback, SCCY, and used to have Taurus USA.

DLC coated bolt and carbon barrel are nice, the price is... accordingly. But left side chargers and round handguards for c-clamping instead of arca are better for steel challenge.

My Volquartsen Superlite 17 HMR is jam-o-matic whilst shooting suppressed, I've tried every can including a low flow Huxwrx Flow 556k.

Own a 3.5" VQ chopped Mk IV with the trigger kit, absolute fan. If there's two things I can respect about Iowa its VQ and that they have Krispy Kreme unlike Minnesota.

They already exist, like that carbon fiber barrel with a SS barrel insert. I have one from KIDD, aluminum bull barrel, with a thin steel barrel inside. Think they offer two different weights, or used to.

@@harpsitardo As a native Floridian...yes, I have. I've also lived other places in the USA, and can tell you for a fact: that mentality is not inherent to Florida. It's called being lazy, and it happens everywhere. I highly doubt a company like this would employ such people.

It's just a Southern culture thing - the work ethic has historically been vastly different from Northern culture. Are there exceptions to the rule? Sure, but that doesn't negate the rule. I suppose there's nothing wrong with it in the end, but you have to wonder why Berettas imported from Italy are reliable but the Gallatin, Tennessee plant can't even manage to produce a Tomcat without the barrel falling off (just one of many issues since ceasing production in their Maryland plant). I don't even have to mention the QC issues that have plagued Taurus and Palmetto State Armory historically. When it comes to life-saving tools, 1 QC issue is 1 too much, in my opinion.

It's nothing more than your ignorance showing. if you own more than 3 guns you can probably afford a decent can. they aren't expensive at all, it's always been the wait times that makes people not want/able to get them. and current wait times are measured in days or weeks as opposed to months like they were a few years ago. so next time you consider buying another 600-1000+ dollar gun? get a can instead.

Agreed. Or at least think up a loophole like we now have with SBRs. All these useless firearms lawyers can't come up with one workaround for suppressors? Someone tell Gaymes Reeves to stop shopping for women's jeans and reviewing overpriced Q rifles, and get on repealing the NFA. Gun reviews will get you known, but repealing the NFA would get you remembered forever...even if you rock a fagbag for concealed carry.
