Volvo V90 Cross Country B5 AWD 😍

After seeing the V90 CC for the first time, decided to trade in my beloved 2008 XC70 AWD and after a 6 month wait, picked up my 2024 (yes, 2024!) V90 CC Ultimate, B6 petrol, SuperCharged and TurboCharged Denim Blue, Ivory interiour, Bowers&Wilkins, air suspension and the rest of the options including Polestar once the specs and software for the 2024 models is released to my Volvo dealer.. A Canadian Aboriginal (Mohawk) living in the States, the tab came in at touch over USD$97,000 with tax, destination, surcharges, etc. and I assure you, this is not the typical rez car. In all my 69 years, this is by far, the best vehicle I've ever owned. Thanks Sweden! Volvo for life.

Nice car! Perforated back seats were removed for MY2021.5 at least for the 60 line up!

They were never actively ventilated anyways. It’s better as ventilated seats are more prone to damage. Childseats and children aren’t very good for them.

Yeah. It's actually the same in 90. Just mixed it up. Was thinking this was a MY23 so it went away last model year, but said last year. Would be correct if it was 2022 now 😂 But thanks. And it started with late production yes. But that's sometimes hard to "understand" for people without in depth knowledge in how the MY works. Like with the upgraded battery. MY22, but early/late 🤣

@@norbertmayer7005 on one hand, yes non perforated seats are more robust and suitable for children, but on the other hand, they do not match anymore with from seats. I am balanced since I have 2 children 9-14 and I prefer cleaning non ventilated seats, but the visual aspect has lost something…

I do own a 2023 V90 Cross Country B5 Diesel with amber leather and bright dusk metallic - an absolutely stunning combination. The diesel engine with the transmission is absolutely amazing. It would be great to see some details on the Volvo mudflaps as I hesitated to order them. They seem to look very decent on that car.

@@volvo_kristian Yes, soon we will board the ferry to Oslo and then continue our drive to Sweden. Feels like coming home - can‘t wait to experience another road trip into the arctic in winter. Last time we drove with my 2020 V90 D5 to Abisko and parts of Finland. -36 degrees and no problems.

What does the AD BLUE do on the diesel, and how much does that add to running costs. Great video.

Adblue purpose are to reduce the harmful emissions. Makes the exhaust slightly cleaner. Haven't driven a car over significant time to see how the running costs will be. Just refuelled it once in a presscar. Wasn't cheap. But heard you usually need to refuel adblue like every 4th/5th time to refuel the diesel tank 👌 Thanks so much
