Yeah, this takes me back to my early twenties as a heavy metal dude. Freaking loved Vonda. My friends never got it. Thought I was nuts. Then Alley Mcbeal came out and some of them started playing this and saying how great it was. I wanted to punch all of them.

I was a guy in his early thirties, single and looking for a serious relation when this hit the screen in the Netherlands. I hardly ever watched TV, but this was so in sync with my life that for the first time I followed such a program. .... Oh I believe I am ready for what love has to give Got myself together now I’m ready to live I’ve been searchin’ my soul tonight I know there’s so much more to life Now I know I can shine a light Everything gonna be alright I’ve been searchin’ my soul tonight Don’t want to be alone in my life .... Just the first and second season then I had moved on in my life and it became out of sync. But the songs of Vonda still stir feelings of fondness and happiness. Was not easy at times, but life was and is good to live. Good memories.

I found Ally McBeal for the first time in 2023 and it’s great! Part way through season 3 and looking forward to getting through the balance. PS: I like when Vonda asked the crowd at the bar to sing along when Georgia starts singing karaoke (because Georgia is a terrible singer). :)
