@@bobu5213 I should really have said hieght there. if their hip is below you, then they have more leverage; thats why shorter people tend to use hip throws more. Tbh, this is pretty much identical to the hip throws in Judo, so I'd youtube stuff about countering o goshi and other techniques.

Having to train in that hall while the rapier fencers use the wrestling mats upstairs is a traditional part of SwordFish, unfortunately.
