I bought this pedal a few weeks ago and I am very pleased by the quality of the build and the broad range of the effect.Sound fantastic and well worth the money.

This pedal also makes an EXCELLENT clean boost if you have everything at zero &just use the volume knob to adjust the amount of boost. Try it out!

I just saw a picture of his Dead Weather pedal board and this was definitely there! I have also heard that he uses a Demeter Tremolo for The Raconteurs, but that is way more expensive :)

@cheesedude5050 Analog. it uses lightbulb and photocells in circuit. I think Voodoo Labs only do analog effects.

I just like the fact that it has a volume knob on it to deal with the volume drop issue, which I very common in trem pedals. Might not sound as good as other tremolo pedals, buy hey! ill rather like to hear the effect on than not hearing it at all on stage, after you just spent hundreds on it.
@DrMarv14 жыл бұрын
@Jeradman51 Because no two effects are created equal. One chorus sounds different from another chorus. If you get into multi FX units then they usually sound pretty generic. With individual pedals you can mix and match until you find an individual effect you like the sound of. And you can match them to other effects or amps. If you know what you're doing, you can get some pretty sweet sounds from multi FX units though, so they should just be discounted...

@tralfamadorian42 I think you mean the best use of the "tremolo arm"... which is vibrato. He uses tremolo in Green Hornet.

dude did Jorma Kaukonene from Jefferson Airplane or the guy from Quicksilver Messanger Service use a tremolo pedal?alot of psychedelic guitarists made that very vibrato sound alot.i tried it w/slight whammy bar and it sounded right,but my friend said it could be a tremolo pedal.

@Xpert9H6 what do you mean? its a tremolo pedal, it's good for tremolo
@kingcroak14 жыл бұрын
@stonerrockMP Well, the signal would weaken with each pedal it goes through, best way to deal with that is to just crank up the volume. As for the pedals sounding bad, well, you just gotta play around and find what sounds right, generally what it's missing is the guitars actual tone. Try altering the treble and bass on your guitar, find out what suits the pedal.

can u get the sound so that the pedal is making a on and off killswitch sound?

Multieffect pedals are, compared to stompboxes, time-consuming when it comes to tweaking individual effects. They will usually have effects that are good, while others might be bad, and since they come in a package, you're left with very limited choice. Now, I own a Boss ME-70 myself, not because its sounds great, but because it is cheap in comparison to individual effects. I hope to gradually fase it out though.

Hi, can anyone help me here. I have purchased a few of these pedals and all of them sound absolutely filth. but in every demo its just what im looking for and the reviews are great. Iv got a Les Paul and an ok amp but its not valve. I want to buy this, because of these demos. I also from Australia, could the reason for these sounding so bad be the AU power? I also cant chain the power for my voodoo lab's because the second pedal in the line will loose power. its a quality power supply to

I have a digitech GNX2 which I'd like to think is a pretty decent multi fx unit. The sounds I get out of it SUCK compared to my almost all analog pedal board through a epi valve jr. Digital FX don't sound as awesome as good stomp boxes. And all they do is emulate the good pedals out there. I'd rather have the real deal. The only good digital pedals would be certain reverbs and delays. The boss giga delay is incredibly versatile and sounds amazing, and I love the eh holy grail...

@Jeradman51 I couldn't see myself using a multieffects pedal. For example, I wanna screw around and create weird & psychedelic sounds. So I turn on a few pedals, strike a chord/note and start twisting and turning the knobs. And it sounds crazy. Basicly it's abou having absolute control over the sound. Because everything's there, it's not in a box with a few buttons. And fuck me if it's not more cool, to have few pedals, different shapes & sizes. :D YEAH!!
