was going to make a flying avatar than has a chair on it then i was going to have a custom sit animation to make it look like the avatar is being carried lol i still can't quite figure it out

hey! it worked but when someone sits on me to test it they end up all the way up high instead of where tha back of my avatar should be even tho it is set to be postioned there?

Is there a way to scale the person that sits in the chair? For example lets say I want shrink the person down and have them sit on my shoulder or in the palm of my hand.

I got the chair working, but the fixed chair prefab doesn't work correctly for everyone. Some users avatars don't get in the sitting position at all. Maybe it has to do with who is on desktop or vr, or if someone's avatar is 2.0 or 3.0?

When people sit on my seat, they don't face the way I want them to face regardless of rotation of the seat, is there a way I can fix that?

Hello, first i want to say a big thanks you for this tutorial. Also i have a question, is there anything extra i need to do to make this work with unity 2018? all my avatars ive used to have working seat on them is been broken even if i just reupload its does not work, ive been using this tutorial to make them and they did work perfectly before the latest update.

Hey! I was just wondering what do I do when my avatar just crashes me out? I load in with the stations and it just crashes my game. It didn't do that before I add the stations so I'm just wondering if there's anything to fix it?

whenever I try to upload it for quest, it says that the sphere collider is not supported and it gets rid of it. Will it still work even without the sphere collider on quest?

"If they're more than 2m away from the chair, then the chair will be disabled at runtime". I'm not sure what this means. if my station is more than 2m away from the playerEnterLocation it won't work? Where did you find this 2m restriction?

hi, I did the same as you did in the video, the vrc panel showed that there was no colider so I proceded to remove the component and add it again but still was in 0 count, is this the way to do it or is there something im missing out?

No you've done it right, if a collider is on the same object as a vrc_station it will not be counted on your performance. This means it's working!

Hey could someone help me, how do you add an Chair on Oculus Quest ready Avatars? I saw some ingame but this method does not work, because it forbidding the collider. :( It would be great to see an Update to this problem, I can't find any tutorials to this for the Quest Version.

what about putting the chair in a world constraint ive tried but cant seem to get the chair not to move it just wobbles following the avi

Unfortunately there's always going to be some wobble if you put it on a world constraint. No way around that one.

Same problem here. The prefab does not work on my old avatars anymore and it won't be added to new avatars either, so you have to use their crappy new SDK to continue making avatar chairs in 2020.

not sure what happened, but after seeing if i can make a quest compatible chair, nothing i did worked trying to get it functioning again, and its difficult to test because i can't click my own chair.
