i really dont understand why non-vr is not a default thing in this game. all being vr-only does is that there is less income for the dev and less players since he is locking out half the sim market with this vr-only mindset.

The dev posted some time ago that going non-vr would take away from the experience of this game. You can disagree with him, but ultimately it's his game and his potential earnings. At least we have mods that make this available to non-vr users.

@@damsonn You'd think if he he wants money which helps improve his game which is already stellar, that offering more ways for people to play it and not be held back with a steep price hike for the VR headset (which I'll finally be getting a Meta Quest 3 at the start of next month, myself) would only boost sales. No? Such a weird decision. Especially when other VR games have also included desktop play and that's only made the game's even better.

@@ZealousFoX23 Yeah, I also think the game would benefit from proper non-VR official mode. But I guess the dev wants to focus solely on VR experience. I'm also looking at Quest 3 for my son actually, as I'm flying VTOL VR with him as of recently and he doesn't have any head tracking device. I wont be getting one for myself as Track IR is enough for my enjoyment - unless the headset I get for him convince me otherwise ;)
