These "over explained" videos are absolutely fantastic! Being someone who's spent quite a bit of time in this game, learning to use each different weapon was a major increase in the learning curve, as the majority of operation is never explained. I was left to asking people over radio comms and hoping someone had an answer.

I've never tried setting a path despite knowing it was possible, and I had absolutely no idea that it had it's own radar. This entire time I've been resorting to other means with moving ships since I assumed it would likely miss the target. Thank you for putting in so much time to work this stuff out!

Great video. As a suggestion, you can also set elevation via your map to your GPS. So if you pathing a cruise missile, it might save it some energy to path it near your cruising altitude until it reaches your sea target at 0 elevation.

The AGM-89 has to be one of my favorite missiles to use for the counter bomber mission for the F-45. Edit: nevermind I was thinking of the other cruise, although I like the AGM-89 too.

Hey, do agm 161s work like this as well, just for ground targets? Or are they different? Another question how do you record the screens separately like in 10:17?

AGM-161 works like a GPS guided bomb with more range. Similar to an anti-ship missile but no terminal radar My last video explains how I do all my recording

question, you mentioned the flight height you can set that. I was wondering if I set the height to go over a mountain like you mentioned then took the height down for the next point would it go down or stay in the same alt?
@TheFerretsWheels Жыл бұрын
It will follow the altitude of the next waypoint. If WP1 was 250ft and WP2 was 2000ft then WP3 was 500ft it would try to pass through each waypoint at the specified height. Going from a low to high waypoint will reduce overall range though, so if you need to clear a mountain and there’s a very low chance of it being shot down, then it’s better to have most of the waypoints high then the last 1 or 2 low to get maximum range

After setting the GPS S, I shoot the agm89, in the mean time the ship is moving. My missile doesn't follow the ship but the GPS point I set up. What's wong?
@TheFerretsWheels Жыл бұрын
The missile has a terminal stage radar and if it doesn’t see the moving ship it won’t track. Try adding the final gps point a few miles before the ship to give the radar chance to activate and scan
