I love the way you think man, you're far from regular. I know you're going to help so many people with their outlook and perspectives.

I recently overshared something with someone who's a coworker but we went out to lunch on a day off. I had a drink and shared something I felt super embarrassed to share afterwards even though it wasn't anything bad, but just something super personal. I left feeling so upset that I have given up this piece of information to that person and was so afraid they'd tell everyone else, even though I didn't have evidence she's going to do that. I'm going to accept it was nuanced, and that I was trying to be vulnerable and honest with someone as we as humans naturally want to connect. This video was super helpful.

I agree with you! And the visual of the bubbles are such a good idea! We are unique individual... so we have all the colors shaped up differently!

Yeah, black and white don't quite get there. As a teacher I talk a lot about, every moment is a learning opportunity. What can I learn from this moment now? There is no judgment on right or wrong, just looking for opportunities to grow and do better. Always love hearing your thoughts Eric.

Really powerful to be bringing that to your classroom. That’s awesome David. I’m pretty sure I got the black and white view from a couple classrooms of my own. Thanks so much for watching!

I like this. Wish I could teach this to my parents. When I overshare it’s because I finally feel heard. I don’t want to repeat this with my kids.

same. I'm an xNxP and I feel so hyped when someone talks to me until I embarrass myself that's why I try to force myself to calm down.

Love this one Eric! I think I’ve stated before that I never consider anything in life to be purely black or white - instead, always a shade of grey - but I love your color and varied shape analogy!!! Puts way more of a visual and fun way of looking at things. You get more excited when a new color pops up, or when a new shade occurs. Definitely left me thinking more deeply on this one! Keep on clapping! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤲🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👐🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤚🏼✋🏼🤚🏼👏🏼👏🏼 hahaha Ps. Those graphics for the colors were sweet! AE skills coming in for this one!? 👌🏼😉👍🏼

Thanks for making this video. I'm gathering information about this because I'm about to start a personal KZbin channel that I'm thinking will tend a lot toward "unburdening" myself of my "secret" vulnerabilities and I'm really concerned that I will make the mistake of oversharing and not striking the right balance. This gives me some food for thought.

I also like how u use colors to explain things. I just watched video where you visually portray? the cognitive funcitons. I always liked to look at my self and my life as a kaleidoscope or a tapestry or mandala.. you get the idea. And it changes depending on my perspective of the day as you said... well you said something along those lines... cool.
