The problem with the miner was that batteries deplete long before the reactors run out of uranium, and the counter doesn't consider that the remaining power sources aren't enough to maintain that usage. Also, something that you might find useful that not a lot of people have noticed: atmospheric thrusters no longer do damage to surrounding blocks. I've been working on a compact armour-encased miner that has no visible thrusters at all, actually, and it works wonderfully.

Wasted, i believe the bug you were having so much problems with is a floating point rounding bug. very common and somewhat hard to kill.

Interior Pillars make acceptable power conduits :) and you have almost 3 thousand motors, lots of iron in them :) recharge mode works fine as long as you dont use that obsolete Semi-auto tick :) No way i cant believe that just happened to the miner o.O your miner dropped cos its out of battery power, its not calculating correctly with the batteries charge input from the reactor, this is the way it has been for years, but that calculation does seem to be worse :) i tried to reproduce the 'new battery' missing power thing but had no luck Clang has punished you for making a non-symmetrical ship :D upright miners FTW

Chris almost every plane that exists has the same setup. Wheel in front for steering and two in the back for brakes and of course to keep it stable on the ground. Some military helicopters have it in reverse where the steering tire is under the tail and the additionals are near the front.

I know this is an older video but if you haven't figured it out already hopefully you'll see this, the issue with the funky hitbox detection while using the manual tools is caused by running the game in fullscreen-windowed mode, I've had the same thing happen to me in multiple games where the game has thought my mouse was pointed to somewhere other than where it is.

Y'all should look into More Realistic Oxygen/Hydrogen Generation and O2 Consumption - V. 3.0; it makes both your oxygen and hydrogen last longer, even though it only states that oxygen lasts longer.

I'm a fan of Discharged powercells, nice Mod. you get the Powercells back as discharged items you can break down and remake a Powercell. batteries also only have 10% power when you build it to help balance the Mod.

Diamondback Spectre yeah part of it is caused by the hitboxes for blocks Vs access panels, the other part is changing the FOV slider seems to stretch and deform the point of the screen you aim with independently of the crosshair. Nanobots is the quick fix

I think I know why the signals spawn so far away: People were complaining in PvP that because the Unknown Signals only spawn near players, that they were giving away player locations. So they now drop much further away and with greater variance on distance to mask player locations.

The game I play with my friends, we don't have them spawning so far away from people. I also never see any strong ones though. Its rather weird. But they are always 3km or less from the base.

100m/s = 1 km per 10 secs, 70 km=700secs=a little over 11 minutes to get to an item that lasts 15 minutes :)

Wasted. You should use Midspaces speed mods(Many Versions). They really help with planes. And there is a fix for the crates opening their shoots to late. Oh no, the missbox is still in this version. u_u I've been wanting to update from 1.180, but uncooperative UI like that makes me not really want to. @56:15 Small ship light (small) atmospheric thrusters may be more space and resource efficient than heavy (large) atmospheric thrusters, but they don't appear to be more power efficient. Maths and testing with armor blobs (since cargo containers do not accurately report the grid mass of their cargo) on the Mars-like planet show: * SS Light Atmo ~ 61kN with lift capacity ~6,800kg for 700kW * SS Heavy Atmo ~ 310kN with lift capacity ~35,000kg for 2,400kW So the heavy atmo gives about 5 times the lift capacity for 3.5 times the power needed. It's not that big a margin, so if power cells and space for batteries is not a concern, then light atmos are definitely the way to. But when power is at a premium, like in Escape from Mars, then it's worth it to go with heavy atmos to squeeze out every bit of extra acceleration for each battery. ;)

The Atmo Thrusters seem cause the hitbox problem btw (atleast for me their hitboxes are screwed and conflict whit the other part`s hitboxes aparently), have it in my game too and on older versions.Hope you read this, might help next time.

The shown top speed on your planes is 100m/s. 50km = 50,000m. 50,000/100 = 500 seconds = 8.333... minutes. You could get to it with time to spare. EDIT: In fact, were you to take it upon yourself, you could probably make it to any container within ~80km, unless I'm missing a variable. You should make a mad dash sometime when a brand new container shows up way far away.

well actually what you are forgetting is that planets are round. the marker tells you the distance in a straight line. the actual route you take is a curved line. on top of that sometimes there are mountains in the way. in other words it would take a bit longer than your calculation. but yeah he could probably make it if he tried.

I noticed, since your voice seems to be lower than most and even more so when you are sick like most others, your mic on your headset sounds distorted. I know I've said this before and to be clear, you dont sound too bad in most of your awesome vids but I never gave any other information than the distortion bit that may be helpful. Using OBS and working in the repairing field of pro audio, I have figured out a few settings that could help without using an EQ to just lower that frequency of your voice. OBS uses soft knee compression for the most part even if you turn the ratio all the way up to 32:1 but the attack and release times are pretty good. I use slightly different settings as I have a less sensitive, bit crapy turtlebeach X12 origanal headset mic but here you are. Hope it helps on your stalker vids as those are the ones I hear the most THD on. Ratio: 12:1 Thresh: -10 to -13 db depending on how hot the level is going into OBS. Attack: 10-15 Release: 80-100 Gain: Adjusted, after settings are placed, for maximum output metered by OBS before it clips. (usually, OBS clips at about -2 to -1db due to it usingdb full scale like most digital gear.)

The desync thing is from losing focus from your main window. Don't jump to other windows if you can help it without reloading. I don't know why, but it was worse, and it's better now. But every time you focus on another window, the game shifts the point at which your character is looking, seemingly at random. It's insane, and stupid. Being in a menu seems to help, but not always. For a while I couldn't ever place large blocks without reloading the game almost for each block. It's really, really annoying. Mere typing cannot convey the annoyance.
