My mother died in oct 13, and she is the petitioner for my brother, l-130 and he already documentary qualified before my mother died. Still have 2 households my dad and I, also my nephew the joint sponsor. Now I don’t know what to do.. shall I inform NVC or hire immigration lawyer?

I'm so sorry for your loss. The petition dies with your mother, although you MIGHT be able to have it humanitarian reinstated under some circumstances.

Hi Darian! I have the following question. I applied for adjustment of status based on marriage with the U.S. citizen in March of 2022. I still haven’t gotten approval of my I-485 form, although the sponsorship form (I-131) has been approved. In July 2022 it will be 3 years since we got married. If by that time my I-485 form will still be pending, can I still apply for citizenship?

Thank you for your amazing videos! As a Canadian Citizen married to an American Citizen for 2yr & waiting for the Petition process to be approved. Am i allowed to travel freely to the US during this waiting process to visit my wife?

Yes you can visit as a tourist so long as you meet the requirements and so long as you plan to timely depart the US during each visit. I strongly suggest bringing a lot of evidence of your intent to return to Canada after a visit (such as evidence of employment, housing, and obligations in Canada).

Form I 130 for sibling. Does processing time vary if the sibling is single or married? Its from Asian country

No, the processing category and processing time is the same for married and unmarried siblings.
