Great idea 'walk and talk'. I do a lot of thinking when I walk but, it just circles about in my head. Chris' self awareness and clarity of thought is a joy. Often wonder if he's got a script but, this shows not so. Winning a 'what not to do' battle is such a huge personal victory and the learning from it, is priceless.

Hi Chris: You are exactly where I was at 52. I am now 64. Reevaluating my life at 52. Unlike you I was a pushover and did anything to keep the peace... even at great hurt to myself. I went through the process of beating myself up. I believe it is a necessary part of healing though. At 52 I discovered that I indeed did have a voice. Reflection on the past is my way of bettering my present and hopefully the future. I really don't worry about the future perse... not there yet! I would love to sit down with you and shoot the breeze about "life". To share and to listen. I am an artist. Retired. And not anyone "special". Just a fellow traveler. I really hope you are OK. Know that many of us are pulling for you. One of my mantras is "just let it play out". Easier said than done... but it has worked miracles for my well-being. Love and light to you brother.

Chris - First off, Nice Place. 2nd - Going through an incredibly hard divorce, I learned the concept of Grace. Many people associate it with Christianity - where ever you get introduced to the concept, it fits with your talk. Extending grace - allow others to be who they are. Especially on social media, people can and will attack you - extend grace, you need not respond. As you have stated multiple times, social media is not reality and in all honesty, people should mostly disconnect from it. We are not built for it, yet. Going through the divorce, I had to learn this, extending grace to others when I have no control and I cannot control, even when I wanted to lose my mind, extend grace. This is not about being a passive person - you talked about silence and accepting your own silence in the moment when being criticized, which is extending grace to yourself and not responding with ego, which is what we as humans normally do. You will know when you actually need to react, it is far less than you think. You talked about patience, that is grace. I really enjoy the walk and talks. Thanks again.

Keep walking and talking, Chris. One of the few honest personal chats I’ve heard from someone well known and on KZbin. Few, only because people whose lives depend on everyone liking them makes them frightened to death to breach the mask in front of us. For fear we won’t like them like that. I like it. Say what you mean and mean what you say, hurt no one without a benefit to them and know when to be silent. I’ll share!

I love this. Thx Chris. I think the key is in the pause… we live in this era of feeling like we need to give everyone the immediate response, the what you think, the justification, and truly, it’s exhausting. I think back to the time when we used to write letters to each other and had to wait for a few weeks, even a month, to hear the other’s response. This was good. Simple.

Good morning, Mr.Cuomo! Thank you for the great work you do. I love watching your interviews with people because your very conscious of being fair and balanced. Your constantly trying to improve yourself to better serve journalism. I remember recently you mentioning The Stoic philosophy. I think Stoicism is a great practice to reinforce the understanding of doing only what is in our control and leaving the rest to God. Practicing Virtue, doing our tasks, taking care of responsibilities, challenging our own irrational thinking, improving ourselves, etc. This is all we control. I see your practicing all the time. Thank you for sharing your learnings and wisdom with us. God bless you and your family.

Thank you Chris. Another passionating time spent with you. Always so real w/your personal feelings that I believe you are sending a great positive message which makes you a positive influencer. We need to hear more public people like you admitting their struggles bringing us to accept more our weaknesses. We all have our weaknesses. Nobody is all & only strong & confident. But some believe it and it makes it impossible for them to be that good. That is so true for our children too. And yes it is harder to be able to keep quiet when silence can be a strong weapon too When responding and releasing the true thinking it is also giving a tremendous relief inside our body & mind So I follow you all the way on everything again today Also learning to let others think what ever they want about you and being you should be a goal. You will never please everyone nor can you be loved by all either …. Never stop this Walk n Talk… the ones who listen to you are the ones who relate to you mentally & intellectually 👏🇫🇷🇺🇸

My Dad fought in the Australian Air Force in Vietnam. He taught me to stand up for injustice. But sometimes, the fight drained me more than the good I did. I had to learn to pick and choose what injustices I fought for. God doesn't expect us to do it all. He gave us our talents to focus on the issues we can make a difference in. As much as it hurts my heart, there are some issues and situations, which I can't help or do anything about. Reserving my energy and focus on the things I can change and make a difference in, is what I now do. Putting more effort and time into a few things, has a better outcome then spreading yourself thin over many issues and not achieving much at all.

Chris on Thursday I thought I wouldn’t have been CCP. Just checking now, I found the interview and this talk that makes me so good. Hold. We can answer but we decide not to. Consist on developing a new strength.specially in front of aggressive people and tones of voice. Some messages seem to come in that way and better not waste energy nor time n them. Tomorrow, I ‘ll re listen to each word of your talk with your autumn style. I do thank you so much for sharing this message which I find very important to save our energy for important matters and not waste it in people or answers which go no where. I used to answer to every one with the right phrase and time. That is not important for me. I’m in the process. Inhale -exhale how long took me to understand it, . How is not taught at school? I listened to the dog.🐶 I am starting to practice forgivenesses cause I want to leave that behind and move on Thanks to you - It’s very difficult. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀BE-/

Happy Sunday and Happy Halloween. I notice the strong ability to defend oneself with men especially when MASCULINITY and character is felt to be challenged. Not every "conflict " is a War..I remember at a low time in my life my late night walks gave me opportunity to speak to GOD in the open late night air and it felt as if Creator heard me better and responded to my needs quicker. Chris you are very much your father's son so I'm proud of your journey to know when to fall back. When you have family you also tend to move differently because your obligation to protect your family only works when you are free and alive to do it.. we don't place ourselves in harm's way when you have children and a spouse.. Good Job Chris

Yes it is helpful Chris. I’ve been a psychotherapist for 35 years and one of the most simple yet powerful tools I suggest to my clients is “the power of the PAUSE.” The pause gives us the opportunity to be present and listen. Listen to ourselves, our breath, the sensations in our body, to the environment and to others. The pause invites wisdom to rise.

Love listening to your talks. This one is very cathartic for me. You are a good listener during your interviews. Many examples come to mind, Bill O’Reilly. Great exercise to watch somebody like him not answer your questions directly, but resort to a condescending, rigid, biased, half-baked distraction. But you listen, keep your cool and answer/address his comments and managed to steer the conversation back on topic. Be fair I don’t know Mr. O’Reilly, and until recently, wasn’t familiar with his style or rand. Your interviews always and amicably. Much more to say but this is enough for now. Keep up the good fight. Thank you.

Chris, I appreciate your authenticity and vulnerability. I respect that because as a former worship pastor and currently a Juvenile Probation Officer in Southern Illinois, I find that many individuals in positions of authority or influence are “posing” or “flexing”. I still have my faith, but I have been profoundly hurt by church leadership. I resonate with your sentiment about what matters is what’s next. It has taken me a while to get to that point and I still 21:06 get tweaked from time to time. Thank you keeping it real! - Sean

I FINALLY got around to doing an actual Sunday twilight walk with "Walk and Talk". I went in and out what is said. But this one is helping me get a better understanding of the events that happened last year for Chris & how he dealt with it. As a critical fan I am truly Thankful to God your family, close friends, therapy and meditation helped make the events easier to not have it be even worse for him. Specifically on preventing from going ape 💩. That's being honest. I appreciate learning from the walks and trying to apply those aspects to my own ups and downs in life. Mistakes we all will makes and sometimes repeat. Trust me I know and have done it. 🙂 I am Thankful that "if you're breathing your achieving". To quote Snoop Dogg's line from Lil Duval''s "Living My Best Life" song. Basically even if we stumble with challenges being alive and getting whatever help is needed it's all good to do while you Living. Please continue these chats as it helps to further humanize U! Dear Chris Cuomo, Teaching us, by sharing your mental health discoveries, through self discovery & philosophical awareness, is really enlightening. But this introspection is getting too deep, at times. Mental health is described as the ability to cope w/ the stresses of life. But life has thrown us all too much w/ which to cope & it is sometimes unbearable. That is when we must stop & reflect & not react. Time to enjoy mental health diversions like: a nice walk, enjoying pets & family, reading, learning a new craft, giggling w/ a friend, writing, sketching, painting, watching a lighthearted 🍿 movie, daydreaming, retail therapy, sleeping, relaxing, listening to music, cooking, eating, swimming, hiking, rock climbing, sailing, power boating, sewing, dancing, traveling journaling, exercising, et al. Diversions will help our souls heal if we make the time to avoid pondering the perplexities of these scary times during these activities. Relax the mind & take deep breaths through the nose & out the mouth, to the count of 5 & around 5 times. Stretch, stand tall & smile. Then, make sure to appreciate our freedoms & other blessings, enough to stand up for them. Continue to share. You have so many gifts. Try to tame your insecurities by humbly accepting your human frailties. I admire your character & value your lessons to us.✌️🌈👏

So honest and very brave. Thank you Chris. Keep pursuing truth and right responses. It gets easier with practice (a LOT of practice). My prayers remain with you. You are an inspiration to so many!

Hi Chris In this Vedio you resemble your Big brother, the former Governor of Newyork. Besides that. You are a great example for so many, among others Me. You are so brave , you are so spiritual in the right sense. When you respond to the unfairness of Humans, you boost there unfairness against you. You are smart, very smart. Humans go through a lot, because of our sinful world. I know we struggle in life, but just know , there are others in the same boat. Iam not telling you what you owe to do. I know you are great and full of wisdom. Thank you for this walk talk. You are speaking to me. I wish l could tell you, what it means. Just know you are helping so many, such as l. When l talked about men with broken hearts. I just meant that , they are judged because they are seen walking and talking to themselves, but if one knew, why they talk to themselves. They wouldn't be labelled as men with broken hearts 💔. See, how you are talking sense, because we can hear you. When they are alone , one can't tell . So they are named as men with broken hearts. Thank you Christopher! May God lead you in all things 🙏

This a simple very personal, sincere, deep ,and honest reflection of Mr Cuomo that make me see the similarities with my personal internal battles with myself first, before facing the attacks from outside that make me loss focus to entirely enjoy the beautiful life I was granted with by God

I like these walk and talks. On forbearance: Like many people I have people close to me who are in the right wing cult. They feel an unrestrained right to state their opinions on politics (more like blind support for the cult leader). I will respond. These people need to know that they don't have the right to run me over with their nonsense. I think the key is patience and to respond in a non-aggressive/hostile manner. I fully believe that to grow in wisdom, you need to listen, think, reflect way more than speak or act. Whatever wisdom I posses, I cherish. But I will not let forbearance make a door mat of me. Chris, thanks so much for what you are doing here. I like more than most of it. I learn from all of it. Fan of free agency and building wisdom

When you can acknowledge and get through challenging times that is how we grow as a person. Just don’t let the struggles define you. Keep reaching for whatever it is you need to complete and you will continue to make steps forward. Love the walk and talks. Keep them coming

Chris, It's so good to have you back. Thank you for sharing your process of healing. I must say that I never liked the expression "Better than I deserve". Every time I hear you say it I cringe. Why? Because each time you say it you are affirming that you don't deserve better. And you do. Know that by sharing your journey you are helping many. Thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. Wishing you many fortunate blessing, Madhu Mati gratitude

I hear you. I get it. I challenge myself to take the course of the better man. I fail often. But, I’ve gone from meeting the challenge, ie, choosing fight over flight, from 100% of the time to 40% of the time. 6 out of 10 times I will walk away. Soon I hope to take it down to 20%. But, I don’t know if I will ever control this urge, this reflex, this habit. Good talk bro. Thanks. Just breath…
