Welcome back to the North Downs Way! The last section was completed in March before the lockdown, so I have a lot of ground to make up if I want to complete the route by the end of the year.
Myself and Luke from The Real Travelling Amigos met back up at Ranscombe Farm Nature Reserve car park where we left off and continued on into Kent across the River Medway to Detling, 12.5 miles.
It was a boiling hot day so we decided to wild camp at Bluebell Hill (only 5 miles into the section) seeing as I had camped in exactly the same spot with Candice, a while ago. That turned out to be a big mistake...
This section was jam packed with history, in particular the medway megaliths from the Neolithic era, thousands of years old! Lovely jubbly.
