The boats from the Sawn and Dolphin are called Disney Water Taxis because those hotels are not Disney owned hotels. They are owned by Marriott. So they can’t use the same verbiage that Disney uses with some things.

I used to love parking at The Boardwalk and park-hopping either Studios and Epcot using that exact same walkway under World Drive. The walk to Studios was quite enjoyable, and rarely used…

I just love the fact that Disney doesn’t use plain old saw horses to barricade off an area. They use lovely planters with different types of greenery. As always just a step beyond what is ordinarily done. Makes a construction area a step above style wise.

We have stayed at Boardwalk and Beach Club and have done exactly that, stood on the bridge and see the fireworks. Looks majestic from there... for free.

I stayed at the Swan and Dolphin once for 5 days. My dad attended a banker’s conference. He was allowed to bring his whole family with food vouchers for intra-Disney restaurants. It was epic!!

we have stayed at Dolphin and Boardwalk, the walk is really nice, especially at park closing with all the people trying to catch buses and boats. Its about a mile walk between the parks. The boardwalk bakery is being changed over to a deli.

You could walk through the Luna park pool to shorten your walk as the hallway by the pool and arcade let’s you out in the Boardwalk green space,I’ve done that walk probably 100-200 times

We’ve done this walk so enjoyable but we took the boat back. The walk from Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom is my favorite thing I did on our last trip! Would highly recommend that walk too. Enjoyed watching from beginning to end and a big thumbs up from us👍🏻

The Boardwalk is such an underrated hotel at WDW--It's a quick walk from the hotel to either EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. Hope that it won't have a serious price increase after the renovations, which were badly needed. Right now, it's one of the best bargains for a Deluxe--especially on the DVC point cost.

We took the Skyliner from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT on July 4th and then walked to Beach Club to get a snack & a drink before heading back. That bridge (11:05) was filled with people waiting to watch the fireworks at EPCOT.

Clockwork Orange reference this morning that is a bizarre movie, I remember seeing that right when HBO was accessible 1980 maybe sneaking into the den to watch it because MAD Magazine referenced that movie seeing Alfred E. Newman looking like Malcom McDowell with the top hat eye makeup! I was 13 scared me big time! I watched one other time in my 30’s and didn’t have the reaction I had as a teen! Loved you Vlog!

Such a great walk. We are staying at the Yacht Club in a week. I love the walk to Epcot and Studios great location. You need to do a DVC stay at Beach club. Best pool on property! Thanks for always making my morning love your travels!

Heh, the Mrs and I were there yesterday evening as well. Went just to have dinner at Ale & Compass then spend a couple hours at EPCOT. Luckily the rain passed while at dinner. We've done that walk from MGM (ok DHS) to EPCOT many times. It's a really nice walk unless in the middle of a FL summer day.

My friend and I walk from EPCOT to HS and back all the time! It's usually faster than the boats and the Skyliner. I think most people opt for the transportation because they do so much walking in a day, but it's really not a bad walk, maybe 10 minutes or so. Also, have you ever raced anyone to HS/EPCOT? My friends and I did once - the Skyliner got them there a minute or two before the boat got us there!

Exactly! I love going resort hopping. I don’t have an annual pass anymore. I enjoy the Disney magic other ways. I just did a resort hopping tour with cousins from out of town and they absolutely loved it. We parked at Disney Springs and utilized the free buses, ferry, monorail and the skyliner. We had a days packed of beautiful scenery, food, drinks and so much fun ❤️

The year: 1998. The Class: Graphic Design, High School Senior Year. The field trip: Disney's MGM Studios The scheduled activity: learn stuff about animation. The actual activity: Me and my friends walking over to the boardwalk, getting some dad to buy us beer at the little convenient store, slamming a 6 pick of Coors light in the Swan and Dolphin hotel bathroom stall in 30 mins before running back to catch school bus home. Hammered. Was a good day.

Highly recommend staying at the Dolphin. If you do stay, try to get a room in the triangle part of the resort. Had a room on the 17th floor in the triangle (I upgraded to "resort view" at front desk check in) and had a stunning view of the resort, Studios and could even see EPCOT from my room. Best view from any resort I've ever had.

The entire Boardwalk/Epcot area is my favorite! Boardwalk Inn was our favorite resort too. You should stay at Swan or Dolphin - they are beautiful resorts.

There's also a walking path on the other side of the canal between the Dolphin and Hollywood Studios although it only goes as far as the roadway bridge - you then have to walk over the top of the bridge on East Buena Vista Drive - there's a sidewalk - and then back down to the walkway you used.

I love the boardwalk area! We stayed a week at the dolphin one time. It’s pretty nice. Feels just like a Disney hotel. Being able to walk to and from world showcase is pretty dope. I made that walk a couple time quite loaded. Somebody in my group tossed chunks in a bush in front of storm along bay

I stay at Dolphin a lot so have made that walk too many times to count. There is a short cut through the BW pool area that cuts some of it off if you are too tired for words. You can also take that little walkway under the bridge that was behind you when you were talking about the Epcot FWs to cut off some of that hill. It is the smoking area now so if that bothers you I wouldn't suggest it but it will keep you from having to pull that hill when going to Epcot.

Back in the day before the Skyliner when I'd be at the World Showcase and didn't want to walk all the way to the front of the park to catch the bus back to the resort I'd go though the International Gate and hop on the Friendship Boat to Studios. The buses were a short walk from the dock. I can give that secret away now. I don't think the boats are allowed to honk under the bridges.

Great information have taken the gondola which is nice and quiet too. Topolinos character brunch in Riviera is awesome. Most highly recommended. Best in Disney. Every character comes to your table. Start at noon not so crowded. $42 is cheap including coffee.
