Superb.. well explained. Anyone who watches this episode would love to meditate as you explain it step by step clearly. I also was nervous at first, eventually I met one of your videos by chance which made me to meditate and it let me to enjoy my innter peace than I had experienced before. So I do wanna respect & offer my heartiest gratitude you.❤ Now I feel that I'm living coz the meditation taught me to enjoy the life living in the present. May the triple gem bless you..!!!

I find this very helpful: Here is one method.7 1. Lift 2. Bend 3. send 4. drop 5. put 6. press Then add,Intending to lift - lifting Intending to bend - bending This training will synthesize into awareness of what mind is attending to.

ฉันคนไทยชอบเดินจงกรมมากเพราะสามารถเดินได้เป็นชั่วโมง สติกำหนดรู้ ถ้าจะให้ตัดความคิดอื่นที่แทรกมาในระหว่างเดินจงกรมต้อง เดิน 6 จังหวะ ช้า ๆ จิตตั้งมั่น.

May I ask where is the point of focus when walking? Is it on the foot sensations? Or is it the breath

Dear K Ch, during walking meditation you focus both on your foot soles (when you touch the ground ) and your breath (B3). Keep practicing and stay mindful 🙏

Is it not better to focus on one or the other for beginners? When it becomes easier, you can practice the other until you think about combining them. That’s regular learning

Hello Bhante, thank you very much for the video! I have a question. I was looking for a walking meditation explanation and got a little confused. In your video you are walking slowly whereas Ashin Sarana gives slightly different instructions in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpTXiX2ugtmJqpY Could you please clarify whether these two types of walking meditation are the same. I also wanted to ask you in which canonical text I could find information on walking meditation. Thank you!

Walking slowly during meditation can significantly enhance concentration. The deliberate pace fosters a tranquil state of mind more readily. Once you become adept at this slower walking meditation, you can incorporate the practice into your regular walking pace. By experimenting with both methods-slow and normal pace-you can directly observe the contrasting effects they have on your mind post-meditation. Feel the differences to understand how each influences your mental clarity and calmness.
