I’m watching you and Granny walking together…. I’m in tears. I’m so glad she’s here with you. I miss my mama so much! She went to Heaven almost 35 years ago. She was 54. Died of Pancreatic Cancer. I found out I was pregnant with our first daughter on October 16, 1989. Mama died on October 21, 1989. I told her about my baby before she went Home. She was so happy to hear about my baby. That baby was born on May 26, 1990…..two days after what would have been Mama’s 55th birthday. Mama’s name was Mary Jane. My daughter’s name is Sarah Jane. I love you and your family. ❤

I was thinking the same thing. I lost my Mom in 2013. This beautiful, peaceful walk reminds me of my Mom. She knew all of the names of all the flowers in my home town of South Charleston, WV. She taught me so much. I love hearing Granny talk about all the plants in her yard. Thank you for sharing her with us. She is a gem!

This video made me think of my dad! I shared with you regarding his cancer! He will be 85 in September and just got the news that it’s in remission. Stage 4 and was only to be with for a year according to doctors. We serve a mighty Heavenly Father who performs miracles every single day! Praise Him above all. Continued prayers for Granny ❤

What’s way more beautiful than the flowers, plants, etc. is the time you’re spending with Granny showing such love & patience. I know she appreciates all you do for her. She looks so great! It is so heartbreaking watching your parent not be able to do as they used to. My mother is legally blind-she can see the outlines of most things-we had lunch today at her house. She still lives alone. She is our green bean queen in our family as well-nobody can make them like she can. She burned those and peas today as she couldn’t tell how much water was in the pots. I cry and pray all the way home many times when I leave. I find comfort in she’ll have no pains and will see the streets of gold crystal clear one day. Y’all are always in my prayers!

We have groundhogs here that we have to keep out of the garden. Don't see to many rabbits. Our 2 cats keep them run off. God is good. Prayers definitely work. Continued prayers for her. Hi Granny. So glad you are out checking your garden and flowers out ! You look so pretty Granny. You are so talented. I use to help quilt but not any more. I am a few years older than you and can’t walk very well…I will be 86 years old on July 2, 2024. My husband will be 88 years old on the 18 th of this month…our problems are knees for my husband and a knee and a bad foot for me but the Lord helps us every day for the things we need to do.. love you Granny!

I would so love to walk around my garden with my mother and sit outside and just talk. She passed at 54 years old. I really miss her. Thank you for sharing your time with your momma with us. It will be 40 years without my momma this year. ❤😊

I know I say this every time, but Granny reminds me so much of my mama. Just to hear her talk reminds me of her. Oh, what a joy to see and hear Granny. Thank God HE heard and answered our prayers for her. She is like my mama in other ways too...my mama remembered almost everything. I don't know how she did it. Just like with that flower in the back you forgot about. My mama could tell me things that I just plumb forgot all about. God bless ya'll! Happy Sunday!!

I had so many visits with my grandma Wilma, just like this. We sang her favorite songs from childhood and talked gardening and about her own growing up years. She was a quilter, a writer, a bird lover, an impeccable cook, and had a sharp wit! When we moved back home we visited her every week for 6 years until she passed at 98. It was a wonderful thing that I will never lose, and I learned more about her in her last years than I ever thought she would share. There isn't anything that can replace time spent together. Love to you and granny, and thank you for sharing your visit!

I think the hydrangea are called are called "lace-capped". Granny looks pert and excited about her garden. I like white-half runners too and my daddy used to grow silver queen corn. The crochet jacket is beautiful and the vest is a pretty blue. I was an RN for many years and often prayed for my patients. The Lord hears and answers our prayers. Granny is keeping busy which is good for her overall well-being.

what a sweetheart she is, i miss my great grandmother, my grandmother kind of ,she was mean LOL she told me once, you go out into that hallow and get lost im not coming to find you, LOL i was visiting from up north, i was so scared i didnt go ,nope,no thanks. our family comes from TN. my great grandmother was the sweetest thing and never had a bad thing to say about anyone,all she ever read was the bible, never said a cuss word always so slim and tall like 5.7 taller than me. the woman ate the same thing every single day! LOL they had breakfast, lunch and dinner unlike from my dad's family we ate one meal a day, after lunch she would wash dishes and let them "dream" while she went and watched her programs. i so wish i had done some recordings of her talking about the old times. your granny is Gold.

How old is Granny? She's a real sweetheart. I miss my Grandma so much. She was kinda sickly most of my memory of her. I spent a lot of time with her. Your family is blessed to still have her. I went through two cancer surgeries in two weeks then a round of radiation this time last year. My most recent tests almost two weeks ago came back with no signs of cancer. I believe in God and know the glory goes to him. I'll be praying for granny and all your family.

Good to see Granny out enjoying the outdoors and her garden and flowers. Reminds me of walking my nanny around the yard as a kid. She was legally blind and still got out and had a garden and flowers with help from family. She loved to get down on the ground on her knees and touch it all . She was a special lady just like Granny. I used to walk her out to her tulips and get her down on her knees with her hand tools and let her work them. I’d leave her for 30 minutes to an hour at a time and come back and move her to the next bed. She didn’t want us to help her because that was her fun. I sure miss her. She was a big part of the village that it took to raise me. I was surely blessed… like y’all are..❤️🙏
