Thank you Mr Logan, what would yer mate Dave do without you to read the maps for him? Still hoping for the Highland Water in the hot summer footage... Thank you both.

Interesting about the Glastonbury Thorn and how it has travelled. I loved the footage of Logan trotting along the narrow paths through the crops. It must have been like a green tunnel to him!

Yes, it is a different world at his height. He is always the last to know when it is raining!

Nice walk for you both. That barley was really tall, but by now it will have turned golden and been harvested. Looks like a pretty area with plenty of woodland. I liked the old thatched cricket pavilion, but I can’t remember ever playing there. What was that microphone you were wearing?
@DaveFord2 жыл бұрын
That was a Rode Wireless Go which allows me to be a bit further away from the camera than the "shotgun" microphone which has to be attached to the camera. I tend to use that more now although when the wind is high then I revert to the shotgun as , with the deadcat cover, it is very good at removing "wind noise". The only downside with the wireless go is that the battery life is just 5 hours (the battery is internal) & often a 5 mile walk can take 6 hours to film .... so I have to remember to conserve (switch off for periods) the battery towards the end. I did find once that I had no sound on some clips at the end of one walk! I believe the newer Rode Wireless Go 2 version has a battery life of 7 hours.
