Thanks Dave. Another wonderful walk with your trusty companion. You are one of the few outsiders who can pronounce the name correctly. I lived near enough to the area to have heard the name of Owlesbury spoken by the locals. If you say Usslebury, you won't be far wrong. It looked quite expensive to get into Marwell Zoo.

Thanks Lionel. I do struggle to spell Owslebury at times though!

Thank you Lavinia. Certainly it is Logan's favourite time of year with all those "pick your own" treats in good supply!

Many thanks Dave, always wanted to visit Owslebury. My Paternal Grandmother's family, the Glasspools came from there. Take care.

Thank you Christine. Lovely that you have a family connection with the area.

Followed your walk today. Very muddy but a lovely walk.

When I did my walk in the "warmer" months (!), I did wonder if it might get muddy along the track / path around the back of the Zoo! (Although, as an alternative, I believe you can use the road parallel to that track / path and it takes you around to the path that goes North from the Zoo car park). Certainly a better walk in the Summer though!

"I'm looking forward to that FIRST pint at the Ship Inn" - You have my respect there Dave, any more than one these days and I'm horizontal making noises like a distant chainsaw. Especially after a walk! You and Logan put together excellent videos (I know which one is the real boss), keep 'em coming.

Thank you. Somehow, one pint was never going to be enough on a warm day like that!

Another great walk Dave. I well remember our Marwell Zoo visit in 1984. It was a lot cheaper then!

Here be serpents! Of the blowy kind, revved up kind and maybe even some in the zoo! Another super interesting walk - thank you. Did you teach Logan to forage for blackberries or did it come naturally to him? And has he tried loganberries??!!
@DaveFord Жыл бұрын
Thanks Jean. he has always had a natural "nose" for hunting down blackberries! Not sure about loganberries though!
