Flying Qatar business from Dublin to Kl on 20th Jan as part of a 7 week trip to see our daughter in Australia. First leg to Doha is non Qsuite business, then Qsuite to KL. Managed to get all four flights for 150000 points + £300 in taxes etc, right bargain. Then flying Malaysian business class to Bali, Qantas Business to Sydney, Virgin Australia "business" to Queensland then Melbourne, Emirates business to Singapore, then the same to Manchester via Dubai, looking forward to sitting at the bar at 40000 feet! Will do a review of all legs!! Can't wait!!

but you could say that about everything!! Name something that's truly complimentary - air maybe? Even if somewhere gives you a free bottle of champers when they mess up its still factored in to the price everyone pays. In places like lounges and hotel rooms "complimentary" surely just means the things you can have as a part of the price you paid that are in addition the actual service - i.e the flight or the room?

I flew Qsuite from Melbourne to Doha then A380 to Paris, the Qsuite is absolutely incredible for sure, also at DOHA, there's a 2nd business class lounge a short train ride to the other terminal and it is GORGEOUS, definitely try that lounge out next time if you get the chance as well

I was able to fly the norwegian business class once to Bangkok from Arlanda. I had to reschedule my original flight there, and i was then able to upgrade to Business class for only like 20 bucks(I guess the flight i recheduled to was cheaper than the original flight i bought and they couldn't pay back the difference in price) Pretty dissapointed with the Norwegian Business class experiance though and will probably never pay extra money for it again.

And everyone can. It’s called work hard. Save hard, plan and budget. And it’s called choice. If you save hard for 2/3/4 years. Don’t drink Starbucks everyday, don’t drink alcohol, and don’t buy materialistic stuff that makes no difference and it can be done. This is what I choose. It’s difficult forking over the 5x cash needed for business class. But it’s a choice like everything else in life.

@lewininja250r why not. Top tip take a bottle of water into the lounge. Drink it and fill it with vodka. Admittedly, you may have to be carried out of the plane, but it works. It's a good system . I highly advise it. 😉😁👍

I flew in that very seat - on a slightly later flight I think - back in May. I too found the Al Mourjan Lounge almost empty and rather dark, although the food and drink was very good. And the flight itself was really good, and I particularly liked dine on demand. I've been lucky enough to travel business with some very good airlines, and I think that this was certainly in the top three.

Very impressive, the only way to fly! I could easily get used to such luxury! Although a bit of a weird feeling, facing backwards is more safe. In the event of an incident your body is pushed into the seat rather than being thrown forward. The cabin crew always sit that way. Well done on the website sponsorship. It is now in my bookmarks.

I flew out of Doha on Tuesday to Houston. I was able to get an upgrade from economy which is nice when flying 16 hours to Houston, Tx. The airport is quite interesting with all of the shops and food areas. I had almost the exact same meal on the plane except I opted for the beef which was quite good. The tiger prawn and scallops were ok but a bit dried out. I fly business every chance I can because of my long flight between Doha and Houston, Tx. I really enjoy these videos.

Very impressed. Back in the 80's, before business class was quite so upmarket, I used to fly London to Hong Kong twice a month, paid by me but from my expense account. After the first few times, i realised that even in business class i still arrived tired and frazzled, so i saved a fortune by going with a standard fare. If i was doing it today, i would definitely pay the extra.

I did Dublin Doha Adelaide return on Qatar last December cannot fault it. Funny thing happened on the way home, a crewmember came and asked me to give her back my rose champagne as there was a problem with it she returned with a new bottle and poured me a glass, apparently the first one had too many bubbles in it .......a first world problem if ever I heard of one!

Thanks for your videos Tim, on first class and business class. They put a smile on my face again. I am preparing to take my first trip o/s in a few months. I'm pretty overwhelmed with all the new rules etc, doing lots of research on what I need and filling in the gaps per travel. I'm travelling from Australia to Spain to begin, I want to spend months. The flight was worrying me, as I'm having some mobility issues, I can only walk a little way b4 stopping etc. It was suggested I go business class and get wheelchair assist to navigate my way through the airport. I don't know how expensive it will be exactly, I don't have frequent flying points, but I'm getting the idea through these videos. Packing will b my next challenge, I only wanted carry on, to save time and avoid the bustle in the airport. Thanks

Looks very nice. I think I'd still prefer First Class on Emirates, although the Qatar flight was very affordable. I'm usually flying from Auckland to Europe. So being at the front really helps with productivity. Might as well make the most of 24 hrs each way in the air. I love the unlimited Dom and Caviar on Emirates as well, and of course the Shower Spa's.

Tim, given the choice to fly from Melbourne to San Sebastián with Qatar ( in business) was the best choice I made. Check in by them ensured luggage went all the way, access to their lounge in Doha and Madrid was faultless and return with them from terminal 1 in Paris back to Melbourne 6 weeks later simply endeared the soft metal, the hard metal and their staff. If you need to ask was it worth the money, you are travelling on the wrong airline.

Another great video Tim. Every trip home meant my wife and I had to stop off to pick up 5 Toblerones, at least 1 of each variety, for our 5 children and it got quite expensive in the end. You rarely get a good deal nowadays.
