I used to work for Kmart, and getting a shirt in size 2X was like finding gold lol. I remember at the end of my store -- we had boxes of S/M shirts and a few L and XL, but if you weren't practically opening a brand new box of those shirts, you weren't finding a 2X. Very cool find.

Thanks for doing these videos. I can't help but crack up at all of the Kmart "marked" items you manage to snag in each of these videos, LOL! But that's awesome though! And yes, indeed it is very sad to see Kmart's closing down (also seeing the decline of the full stores to close to nothing in the end in your videos). Kmart is a store I grew up with, along with Payless Drug Store (remember that store? Before it turned into Longs Drugs, and now CVS) :( Slowly but surely my childhood is now becoming a distant memory.

With this location and now the Bridgeville store closing, there will be no more Kmart's in my neck.of the woods. Only ones that I can think of that will be left is West View and Century III.

Always sad to see another Kmart go....two stores by my old house were closing around the same time, in Feasterville, PA and Bensalem, PA. It was terrible, although I did get some neat stuff for my apartment that held up pretty nicely when I moved. At least in the recent round of closings, the three near the NJ Shore were spared....for now.

The closest Kmart to me ( Grand Forks, ND) has still managed to slip through without being put on the closing list. I think it's because It's close to the Canadian border, and there's no Kmart in Canada so the Canadian visitors check it out.

I've finally looked at the list of Kmart and SEARs closures. Turns out... Here in the Chicagoland area, SEARS in Orland Square Mall is closing this March or April.

I have been watching a number of channels following the closure of specific Kmart's and what seems unusual is every single video shows bear empty carparks and stores lacking customers yet visits just a few days or a week a appart show massive amounts of stock disappearing each time. Who's buying it? Where are these customers? Is some stock being shipped out to other stores or being returned to warehouses? The prices don't look that great so who would be buying massive amounts of stock?

Peter i oh they have customers. The people who film often come in during "off" hours to avoid getting unwanted attention from other customers.

Peter i - good observation, I spoke with the guy in charge of the liquidation of my Fenton MI store, he said he will receive several new semi loads of merchandise up to the closing date, I really think some things get moved back to the warehouse and they keep moving merchandise around to get the most $$ for it. It's really a game, Kmart really is now in the business of shutting down.
