I found Skillet by accident about 5 or 6 years ago I thought myself as agnostic but 4 years ago I had a massive stroke a doctor told me I should be dead and another told me I'd be in a wheelchair the rest of my life so when I walked into my house after months of rehab I went straight to my Bible for answers Skillet is now a daily listen along with some other worship music I've even gone back to the 80's and listen to some Stryper. Love these guys.

Skillet is one the bands I listened to non-stop when I re-dedicated my life to Christ. I could relate to the songs so much. I've introduced my 9 year old and she's hooked! Thanks for staying true to God's Word!

Dude what John said about Chester Bennington had my eyes water up a little bit. Linkin Park and Skillet are both bands that me and my band are inspired and influenced by.

I just finished listening to the audio version of John’s book (I’m super busy with work and two children, so I mostly listen to books) and it is really good and very informative.

We touch more lives every day than we will ever know. Let your light shine. Thanks Wally for this interview and thanks John for being so open and creating such beautiful music. "Whispers In The Dark" touched me the first time I heard it on the X2008 cd and it is still my favourite song, though "Lions" is catching up pretty quick!

Music is so powerful that God had David play the harp for King Saul to silence the evil spirits that tormented him...God uses music.

Absolutely love you guys, I loved victorious so much since it came out, just learned that! I got to kick it and meet Linkin Park and a day to remember two years before his passing, at summer fest, they were all very humble, They are my favorite band, since 2000, been on their street team since 2001, part of how I met them. I’ll never forget him, or linkin park, I was crushed to pieces when he died. And crazy enough, I fell back onto you guys, dead crying trying to type this. Your music along with theirs motivates me highly in life and teaches me giving up is NOT an answer. I actually met you guys as well for a few seconds working at LifeFest this past one as a Volunteer, forever coming back to lifestyle since it’s in my back yard, and it’s the most positive experience I have had becides my meeting linkin park, and as well seeing them and Jay do their first performance together in cali when I was younger, that was so awesome. Hope you guys doing well, catch you meet and greet next Liefest. ❤️

The fact that this guy (wally show) has John on his show and has a good time while alot of woke "Christians" are kinda attacking John has me interested in wally now.

I love Skillet's music!!! Wanna hear something funny? Speaking of secular songs. When Adelle sang Hello, it was cool, but just another broken-hearted song. But when Dan Vasc sang it, I swear I could hear Jesus singing it. Hello. It's meeee. I must have called a thousand (million) times.
