Or in the case of Mike Hermans videos, "Hands Without A Face" lol ;) Best guitar gear demos on KZbin!

like the way the EQ works without being abrassive

Should have two versions of this. One that replaces the Midi with a stereo effects loop would be great. I could see people wanting to put fx between the preamp and ir cabs.

This sounds great - not sure I understand all of the options/controls by just watching. Gotta dig deeper into this one. Super arrangement too, Mike!

Sounds great Mike! The obvious buyer question: have you tried the Strymon Iridium at some point to compare? TIA

What if I set L - R different then using mono output? Is it a new mixing?

Do you feel some kind of latency in the playing ? I wonder if we couldn't do better than IRs with just analog filters (if the aim is not to copy legacy but to invent a good sounding amp-in-a-pedal). I've been waiting for a product exactly like this, small format for a small pedalboard but great sounding, with foot switch to toggle between clean and dirt. I'm eager to test it in a shop. I'll have to ask if I can plug it in a PA system. Not sure if guitar shops are already used to that.

I had a lot of fun with this. It feels great to play and I couldn’t feel any latency. It takes pedals very well. Yeah- I don’t know how you’re gonna test it at a shop...

Actually at home I play using a mixtable into a home soundsystem. Headphones is ok actually but if you want to have a better idea of how it would sound and feel from the engineer's PA, it's better to test with real PA speakers. Probably need to go to a guitar shop that also sells PA systems (for keyboards and singers). It will change their habits I suppose.

This has a built-in headphone out, right?

Fantastic demo and playing Mike! Do you like more this Walrus or Syrymon Iridium? I talk about the basic sounds and sensitivity at the touch of the fingers, all other options for me aren't important. Thanks Mike! All the best Marcello

I love mine but I cannot even reach breakup unless I use an external boost. This is basically a clean amp IME or the clean channel of an amp.

The chords with distortion sounded like Mr. Big, the song not the band.

sounds nice. does it feel like valves under your fingers, as in natural valve compression, sustain type response? loved the sound when you played the my hearts on fire song.
