CORRECTION: When I mention the Glock 43 and its larger magazine capacity throughout the video, I mean the Glock 43X. That's what I get for doing a terrible job keeping track of Glock's random sub compact pistols!

Bought one of these for my gf 2 years ago. When I got it in and held it I wanted to keep it for myself. This last christmas I bought one for my mother. I love the pistol, it feels nice in the hand, I love the way it handles when you fire it.

I consider this to be the natural choice of James Bond. Very accurate, soft shooter, fits my small hands. But my triggers still gritty after several hundred rounds and I've mangled the spring tring to reassemble my M1

The CCP was going to be my next carry piece before the 365XL came out. I really did like the ergos of it, but the limited capacity really knocked it down a few pegs.

Apparently Walther filed for a patent for an 'increased capacity magazine'. I've been begging Walther for years to figure out how to get a few more rounds into this gun and to improve the trigger but I'm guessing they won't do anything further with this Umarex design. The rumor is that they are going to release an increased capacity PPS M3, or M2+. It's too bad, because the ergonomics on this gun are possibly the best I've felt at that size.

The CCP is gigantic compared to its walther brothers the PPS M1/M2. They should have gone for a 10+ sized grip.

When will you be releasing files for a 1.5 stagger magazine and a jig to get rid of the support ribs? Walther should update this platform with the PDP stippling and trigger mechanism. Although my P99 AS trigger has the shortest reset of the P99, PPQ, and PDP - the PDP is current production and might be able to be adapted to a CCP M3 frame redesign

I enjoy shooting and carrying my M1, though I do wish they would make a threaded barrel for them. Would be a blast to shoot suppressed.
@booliganshootingsports
@booliganshootingsports 2 жыл бұрын
I think it would make for a great suppressed platform. The non-tilting barrel would eliminate the need for a Nielsen device, however, the increased backpressure might do funky stuff with the gas delayed blowback system. It would be fun to experiment with either way.

@@booliganshootingsports I'm pretty sure the suppressor would totally mess up the gas-delay system.

Since this is marketed towards people with less hand strength, that might be a reason for the single stack magazine. Much easier to load than a double stack. I have the M1 and it is quite easy to load the magazine without a loading tool

When are the files coming for this frame? Haha
@booliganshootingsports
@booliganshootingsports 2 жыл бұрын
Probably never, lol. Since this uses a gas piston setup below the chamber, it does tend to generate more heat within the frame compared to something like a Glock. Now, it's not uncomfortable unless you're putting a LOT of rounds through it in a short timeframe, but I doubt that our low temperature tolerant printed materials would fare terribly well.

I carry..and shoot it just fine.. conceals fine w/Crossbreed holster. Can put 5 round in the X ring at 25 - 30 ft. the rest 10/9 rings occasional 8's when i flinch It shoots fine. Yeah trigger could be better but most CCP M1 shooters say they dont notice the squish when shooting it. (its more like grinding) But I have noticed it has wore over time and rounds and is even less now. Get it drop test fixed for free from Walther. As with anything, it is a tool. Get to know its ability and see it for what it is. practice, practice, practice. - Ex Army

Do you have the original or the M2? The original was a joke requiring a tool to disassemble. The M2 just requires practice, but is still definitely more involved than other pistols like Glocks.

Miss the part where I show that it was unloaded like 4 times? The magazine has rounds in it because… it’s my carry weapon that I literally pulled straight off my hip, ejected the round in the chamber, and filmed. Rounds in a magazine don’t spontaneously fire themselves.
