You do a really good job on these videos. We'll be in Merida and Campeche next week and your videos have provided some great information. Thank you!

Hey there! Enjoy, have a great time! Campeche and Merida were both great cities to explore, just watch out for puddles of water when you step off the curb in Merida hahaha.

Many years ago I went to this archeological site, on a school trip. Your video made me remember all those good times. It's good to See that the place it's in a nice shape still... Herencias del México profundo, aún en pie y viviendo en nuestra cultura y sitios arqueológicos. 👌👌👌👌 Saludos Barbón! 🤙🙌👍 Y gracias por compartir.

Incredible shape, and so quiet and peaceful there (despite the heat!). Was shocked how few visitors there were, but glad I had to almost all to myself too. Almost felt magical. 😊 Thank you for watching! ✌️

Amazing spot, it sure pays of when you do your homework to find these of the main path locations, places where the all inclusive tour groups never gets to see, well done.
@wanderbeardАй бұрын
Yeah, you know how much I prefer just taking it all in on my own. I feel like this place doesn't get many tour groups at all. It was one of the best days I've had in Mexico.

I'm pretty old, and some days I really feel it. But I don't let it stop me. I waited too long to do it, so no stopping me. ☺️

I just started watching your videos, love the content. I highly recommend you to visit Yaxchilan if you can. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been to, it's deep in the jungle but you can get there by boat through the Usumacinta river.
@wanderbeardАй бұрын
I was actually hoping I could visit it from Guatemala when I'm there. I know it's on the Mexico side of the river, but there are apparently boats that will take you across.
@arniemarnieАй бұрын
@@wanderbeard You are right, you can get there both from Mexico and Guatemala. Looking forward for that episode, safe travels!

Wow, impressive it's so beautiful there, the nature surrounding it❤️ in my mind I'm trying to imagine how they placed all these heavy stones in precise order obviously placed perfect for their purposes alot o blood, sweat & tears put into every detail respect Amazing😮 love this area

I think it's my favorite ruins that I've seen in Mexico. It was so peaceful, and with so few people, it made it feel extra special.

Nice😊
@yomerito3320Ай бұрын
I’m not sure if it is good or bad that there’s so few people there, I mean is good because it will be kept better for more years but is kinda sad that not enough people can appreciate this site.
@wanderbeardАй бұрын
I think since it's under the IANH umbrella, it will continue to be preserved, and from a selfish standpoint, it was awesome having it almost to myself. I hope people see the video though, and decide to check it out, because it's a pretty amazing place.

Thats why they build the tren maya, so people can get more adscess to these sites.
@wanderbeardАй бұрын
Agreed, one of its purposes is definitely to help people move around more. Especially for locals where Tren Maya is even cheaper than ADO!
@shiroumxm2052Ай бұрын
tren maya is obsolet, wate of money and time, overcosts, forest destroyed and also endangered animals being hunted by the goverment.. just like AIFA, and the refinery.. overcost to steal as much as they can.. narco govermment

Sin duda, fue un lugar increíble, construido con mucha dedicación y cuidado durante muchos siglos. A veces cuesta creer cómo se construyó todo esto hace tanto tiempo, pero demuestra la fuerza de voluntad y la inteligencia de las personas. ✌️ ------ It was certainly an incredible place, built with a lot of dedication and care over many centuries. It is sometimes hard to believe how this was all built so long ago, but it shows the strength of will, and the intelligence of people. ✌️
