Being a CIA agents is more like being a business man, making deal with people, using charm to manipulate people, etc. Combat is rare, hand to hand combat is even more rare. It's not like a James Bond movie.

@@peppapigdid9112 Very well. Along some government benefits. They're recruiting a lot, since 2016. People are always leaving and coming in. Best part of it all, in my opinion is: commuter benefits (if you enjoy traveling alone, abroad.) But it's not like what you see in Hollywood-films. The most realistic films that portray the CIA, to me, is "Zero Dark Thirty" and maybe "The Recruit."

Just remember when you take the polygraph to say as little as possible. If they claim you are being deceitful just clam up and say you are doing your best to cooperate. Don't volunteer information. The less you say the better you look. It's not an accurate measure and they know that.

@xxlilsavagex DABS ALWAYS? No. Give it a shot yes but don't end up like Anvil. Be realistic. If your dream is to be a rapper or an athlete, don't die on that hill. That's hard to break into. If your dream is something more realistic like maybe the CIA, or to be a working musician. Those are also difficult but realistic. Just think if you had a son who said he wanted to be a rapper. How would you deal with that? I'd tell him (or her) to have a backup. If you don't know, Anvil was this metal band who came out around the same time as Metallica and Slayer, made a few records, did some shows and ended up playing in front of a lot of people, then just sputtered out but 30 years later they're still plugging away at small venues, working a day job and trying to break into the biz. Fortunately it's not all bad news. Apparently they developed a bit of a cult following in Japan so I guess they have a career now but still. There are plenty of bands that just don't pop for whatever reason. Some of them are really good too.

As an Ex CIA logistics of 7 years, you must understand that the agency doesn’t select applications, nor do they have system of interviews similar to a job application! They observe you and follow you up for a few years before they even think of contacting you, you won’t even know they are looking to recruit, no calls, no emails just 3-4 men showing up at your doorstep with the “job”

Everyone in Delaware County's ICAC volunteer Task Force in 2002 was given a radio with centralized communication directed out of CID Delaware County to listen to a real time feed of the listening device planted in my vehicle in 2002. These volunteers did not go to community college for four months to be trained as police officers. This is group think. Marple Police, CID Delaware County, FBI, PA State Police, and Omaha Police, you are guilty of defamation of character, unlawful invasion of privacy, emotional distress, an illegal six month incarceration in mental hospitals, for violating my civil rights, bill of rights, and constitutional rights with an illegal police and ambulance presence since 2015, and for medical malpractice. You will be found guilty, and therefore, you will be sentenced to prison for obstruction of justice, felony perjury, conspiracy, and entrapment. This is a $1 lawsuit and all civil and punitive damages will be awarded to the South Florida Wildlife Center bird sanctuary in Miami, Florida. A federal Texas judge will be shutting this ICAC investigation down with a court ordered injunction and the 303 will be expunged from my record. Furthermore, Belmont, Mount Sinai, Mercy Fitzgerald, Bayview, and Crozer Chester, you are guilty of medical malpractice and conspiracy. Dr Real, Dr. Oloofa, Dr. Papa, Dr. Demario, Dr. Pugliese, Dr Patel, Dr. Boyadjis, Dr. Sherri Zhang, Dr. Soloway, you are guilty of medical malpractice. Most of these individuals are not actually doctors. This is a $1 lawsuit and all civil and punitive damages will be awarded to the South Florida Wildlife Center bird sanctuary in Miami, Florida. Bob Burke is not a lawyer, neither is his son Max Holloway. You will be held accountable for your words and actions in a court of law.

You would think CNBC would know the difference between an officer and an agent. An agent is someone (who usually works for a foreign government or entity recruited by an actual employee of the CIA, (A Case Officer) to provide intelligence on a foreign government or entity. An agent is not an employee of the CIA, but If you want to work for the agency in a "spy" like capacity you would be a CIA Officer, not an agent.

We not necessarily, I think if you have what it takes and what they’re looking for, the CIA will hire you, plain and simple. You have to fit the need….. and that’s anywhere. You meet their expectations, they’ll hire ya. Of course you have to pass all sorts of security checks and what not but I think a person with certain talents, skills, and or abilities without a degree they would hire.

If you want to join the agency an “easy” way is join the military go into a intel, cyber, or linguist job, you will get your secret or top secret security clearance do your 4-6 years enlistment and get a degree in that time frame then apply. You will already have the clearance, you will have the degree, you will have the experience, all being paid for by the military. It all starts with getting a high enough Asvab score to qualify for the jobs.

My conception of the modern day job market is that even the most educated individuals are not compensated as they should be. Me personally I work in investment banking so I get compensated very well for (as an economics grad) mediocre educational background (compared to mathematicians or generally physicists and IT boys). Thats why a lot of salesmen and traders on the trading floor have a technological or science background. To get paid what they deserve. On the other hand banking in general has no intrinsic motivation except the monetary aspects. You dont produce any goods a employee may be emotionally interested in such as a car freak may love to work for BMW or Porsche etc. You have fun working with people in a dynamic working atmosphere, have no problem with quantitative work and you want big money? Well quit your scientific path and come to the dar... banking side. Well therefore you have to sacrifice any intrinsic motivation why you as a physics grad did enrol in physics in the first place. Thats why I think these are reasonable salaries since you have to be pretty well educated I guess to join CIA. More jobs like this one, that aim for highly educated people should compensate accordingly. Otherwise physicists tired of working for minimum wages apply at banks or investment banks and take these jobs away from business or economics students because of their much higher brain power :P

Is the real the CIA different then the TV Show Homeland? No, it’s exactly the same thing. Also, working at Apple is just like HBO’s Silicon Valley, working for an Advertising Firm is just like AMC’s Mad Men, and working at Medieval Times is just like Game of Thrones. Oh, and being a Cop is just like the TV Show COPS. Wait, nevermind. Scratch that last one. Lol

My dear citizen colleagues, the FBI and CIA are criminal agencies. Why? Firstly because the work with our hard earned money to defend this great country and both agencies work against our country. Secondly, because they are responsible for the death of our president John F. Kennedy. Yes, they were responsible for this assassination with the help of our ex-president Lyndon B. Johnson. Just study the documentary: The Men Who Killed KENNEDY. But even goes beyond this assassination. These agencies are responsible for the cover up of other distinguished American heroes such as Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and many more dear American Citizen. We must speak up about these assassination so that these agencies be punished with the death sentence. GOD SAVE AMERICA FROM CRIMINALS AND TREASONS. These agencies, FBI and CIA, have committed treason against our country.

I still will and should expect that true law enforcement can be dependent upon to act with integrity when someone provides a cry for help. This nation is a disgrace to it's citizens not because of its president but because they have two sets of rules the ones they want citizens to follow and then the ones they follow through systemized cruel racism.

Then it's right up your alley if you have the required recommendations listed below: They hire you if you can 1.speak multiple languages 2. Think quick on your feet and alone, because you won't have anybody but yourself 3. Naturally blend in with different cultures 4. Lie and snitch with no type of pressure 5. Sucker others into trusting you while stealing valuable intel and maintaining disguise. 6. Oh, and being able to disguise yourself. 7. Have a psychopathic personality. 8.Past the infographics test 9. College degree. Then you're pretty much set. Goodluck stranger
