@@MCGamerCZ Yeah, I got Cestra and Bolto (Both upgraded to their AK versions) and a Karak (sold it awhile go meaning to go get the Kuva one but haven't gotten to it). And Boreals trident I've never bothered building. It might even actually have copied and pasted DuViri's random thing, which specifically tried to throw unused weapons at you (always had the same issue there being spammed by the single pistols for Akimbo models) Setting aside unowned stuff. I ended up with Mag, Protea, or Titania. Not a bad set. Harpak or Panthera. Harpak is a laugh, and Panthera is a heavy slash focused weapon against Murmur. Quatz for a Pistol. I have a decently built Quatz, but a run carrier it is not. Serro, Caustacyst, or Skana - Hadn't built the first two, wasn't going to try and dump plat into arcane adapters or 5-6 forma to do so. The Skana (incarnon) performed decently if you ignore that none of those frames really want to be in melee. Mag - Mines built for a bubble, not rebuilding and wrecking my build for a single week. Tried it but Quatz ain't enough for the bubble to work out. Protea and Titania were what I ended up using. Ran into immediate problems with armor strip though cause both my builds for those left my armor strip needs to Unairu, and Operators were disabled this week. Which in a nutshell is why this mode feels bad. Unless you ignore the depth of the game and build everything to be modular and stand alone, it will likely break your builds more often then not.

So I was curious about something. I forget the exact level of SP alchemy, but assuming ~160, a rogue culverin has ~5 million effective HP according to the wiki. At 379 (around when you commented the difficulty of stuff being like SP), they have a bit over 2 million effective HP according to wiki. And for those curious, if this was at SP, the culverin would have like 13 million HP which is close to a regular steel path Fragmented boss on Effervo

What makes the randomness of the Circuit a lot more bearable is that you can force cycle your loadout or just wait a couple of hours and it will be different. With the Archimedia, you're stuck with what you are given for the full week.

I like the modifiers, I don't like the random loadout restrictions, specifically for weapons. I've sold tons of gear throughout the years that I've not liked or are just MR fodder, so now I have this pressure on hoping that I even have the right gear AT ALL to get max rewards. If I don't, I guess I have to waste time throughout the week rebuilding it which is very lame imo. I'd much prefer if it'd restrict you to certain weapon classes, like you must bring a shotgun, pistol, and dagger to get max rewards. Which could then rotate next week to something like rifle, throwing secondary, and heavy blade.

It has the exact same main problem as SP Circuit (i.e. you are 100% dependent on RNG), but with the added expectation of this being 'endgame' content. Most games' endgame content is a test of skill, or at least a test of gear; Warframe's is primarily a test of luck. Also solo players are SOL, but that's normal.

@@TehCakeIzALie1 At least with Circuit, you can just reroll your gear after a quick 1 round mission or wait for the next spiral. And you have decrees which can help some weapons be somewhat viable. But for Archimedea, if you don't have the gear the game asks you to bring, you're just locked from the best rewards for the whole week. You could take time to build whatever you need throughout the week, but at that point I'm forced to take up my inventory slots just because the game said so if I want the max rewards, of course.

@@Just_Amatuer Plus there's the issue of most weapons and warframes just not being viable for some of the modes (i.e. Disruption and Mirror Defense). So if you get those, you basically have to get carried by someone who rolled an incarnon or Frost.

I'm loving this mode so far. It isn't the hardest thing in the world, and the rewards are completely fine too. Plus if you complete the Elite with all the modifiers on and and you choose what the game tells you, you get gifted a new Sumdali for your ship, which is super neat

A tip for the Necramechs: Vitriol phials and alchemy amphors deal damage based on Max HP and ignore most forms of DR. Splashing them on a Necramech can eat massive chunks out or even outright kill them with status damage. In general: You can still call in your own Necramech. Don't be afraid to use it. The flying Murmur can be finisher'd now. The Warden is vulnerable when it only has one arm left. If you find a Lohk Surge with the health/energy orb buff, kill the eximus it spawns for a freebie. Shock + Faction Damage Bonus can absolutely ANNIHALATE Indifferent Facade, even harder that Radiation via status damage. Necramech Demolishers have no nullifying pulse, BUT they have a hard limit on all status effect. If your tactic of choice is bleed/shock/whatever, make it count and don't "overwrite" it.

The entrati labs thankfully have some ways to damage enemies outside of just our gear that makes these archimedea a little less of a pain due to rng, like alchemy you can just throw the little element pickups at the enemies and they actually do a decent amount of damage

When frame choice permits it, I abuse the %hp damage Trinity Vamp or Rev Reave does. It requires few casts, but with negative duration it wrecks through Necramechs pretty fast

i find very funny, that one of the conditions is "no consumables" and yet you're able to call your crew member into this mission and use the energy pizzas (which i did appreciate, cause it can get pretty chaotic with the void angel in the mix)

I'd be happy to take a bunch of extra modifiers as opposed to it, would be nice to have the option to choose between set gear and a hard modifier or something. The random nature has gotten a LOT of backlash: 1: It can offer you stuff you don't own, undermining the whole idea of giving you a choice (unless you blow silly resources on rebuilding an MR fodder weapon) 2: it's not steel path, so it's not actually that difficult with good gear. (Armored enemies have 1/6th of their steel path EHP) 3: Even if it offers you things you own, it punishes you for not having maxed builds on everything. Because it's not steel path, a lot of weapons work, but for any weapon to actually be good enough at this level it needs a proper build, which costs forma and catalysts. I myself only barely got through normal by abusing knifestep+arcane grace on atlas. I couldn't actually use his kit because of the energy drain, so my build was just a bunch of unranked health and armour mods I couldn't rank up because I didn't have a spare potato to slot into him. It essentially turns into steel path circuit, but without the option to use the weapons you don't own, no default builds (that fill every mod slot with maxed mods without a care for capacity) and much worse reroll opportunities.

3 should not be an issue because it's suposed to be "endgame" content. Players complained for years about DE leveling down every single piece of content to be "begginer friendly", so to assume you got a decent build on most equipment (you own, I do agree rolling things you don't have sucks because it impairs reward progress) is natural for veteran focused content.

Thanks for the video, its neat to see your honest thoughts about the mode. I think I had decent luck, 2/3 of my frame choices sucked (for me) but 1 was decent. Both my secondary and primary options were terrible but I had a good melee (A melee I would actually take to steel path lol). So I ran it solo and killed everything with melee. I failed the first run and had to change up my build (it was 100% a build issue on my end). Ran it again and beat it solo. Then I ran through it again on public just to see how much easier it would be and it was so different it felt like I was playing a different game. It was super easy. I had Gauss (not a frame I like to play, but a great frame none the less), a wisp, a zephyr and I don't even remember what the 4th player ran (they had such little impact). Simply having team mates to take enemy aggro off you and hopefully deal damage makes it a breeze. Then DE did their frame/weapon reset and I got titania. I solo'd the elite version. It barely felt different from normal steel path with a good frame. 'Good' being a frame I like to play, know how to play and actually have a good build for. Then I ran it public and again the difference was massive. If you struggle with it at all run it public if you can, and you can get carried by your team no problem. For the elite public run it was me (titania), styanax, citrine, mirage. The mirage honestly didn't do much but it didn't even matter. If your loadout sucks no worries, you can be carried. Got a blue shard, red shard, 2 melee arcanes (the legendary ones) and a blue tauforged. I didn't really find it difficult tbh, it was more annoying then anything. If DE think difficulty = annoyance then yeah it was SUPER difficult. The rewards were ok but it didn't really feel worth the time for me. Not sure if I'll continue to run it honestly.

My random public team all had the same modifiers - might have been a coincidence though. 3:47 mostly yes, but I had one round where they spawned in two different locations. Necramechs have a weak spot on their spine - it looks a bit like a tinted light bulb. Making the restrictions work is the fun part for me. So I'd prefer if you did the same.

Everything about this new mission type is a miss for me. Circuit was something I was genuinely excited to build my account around until they added Jackal, these "Archimedea" things are just more frustration without even having the satisfaction of snowballing into some ridiculous "deleter of worlds" like rogue-likes tend to allow. The rewards are also shoddy at best to me, I don't need more archon shards when I'm currently in a deficit of wanting Stela and Bile resources to make a full set of 5 taus for all of my favorite frames, an endeavor of which is ridiculously costly because of how much Stela is required.

As far as I know, the Personal modifiers (shield delay, Operator ban, etc.) and the modifiers in missions are the same for everyone, but the loadout restrictions are randomised per player, similar to the Warframe/Weapon buffs we get for Arbitrations and Archon Hunts. They also don't seem to care whether or not you've actually invested in the weapons. I got Gauss/Hildryn/Revenant and Tonkor/Bubonico/Afentis for my Frame and Primary (all but Afentis I've got decent builds on), but for Secondary and Melee I got the Zymos/Hystrix/Velox and Fang/Amphis/Keratinos, which I don't even have Catalysts on all them, except the Keratinos. Could really do with a weighted system in my eyes, or make 2 out of the 3 choices per slot be things you've got a catalyst in at least, but it's not the end of the world. It's meant to be "end game" after all, so people should own a fair chunk of the weapons by this point.

I was unable to exit even the spawn of my all modifs + conditionals Elite Archemedia run at first. Then later my new problem was The Hallway of Death (TM) as the three immortal liminus in it directly drain your hp through shields, while I was playing Gyre as my only viable warframe option from the three (BECAUSE I OWN ONLY GYRE). I got lucky and had a cool squad after my 5th attempt though so that was quite cool.

I was lucky enough to get Revenant on mine. Made everything crazy easy, even for my team. I guess sometimes its just a dice roll. Its interesting since this turns the whole "endgame" phrase on its head. Its not simply tougher, but it is more easy to complete the closer to the true endgame of warframe you are, which is having all great weapons and warframes with multiple builds instead of relying on "meta" frames and weapons. Pretty great addition imo.

I personally like the Deep Archemedia, but I usually like the randomized loadout stuff as it gives me the chance to use stuff I wouldn't otherwise and refine my builds. It took me 3 attempts at Deep Archemedia to tweak my loadout, 1st: "Hmm too weak for Necramech demos, oh he is using his archgun..." 2nd: "still not enough damage output in general and for demos" 3rd: "thats the ticket, with Roar everything is much more manageable" Elite Archemedia took me one attempt, though I realized afterward I should of used Akvasto instead of Akstilleto because I needed more raw damage. Inaros w/Roar, Amprex, Akvasto, Syam, & Mausolon btw. I'm personally a collector, which was amplified when The Circuit came out because its randomization prioritized some items you didn't own...so I went and got a variant of all the weapons, so the randomization wouldn't play favorites. I may not have builds for all of them, but there is little to stop me from fixing that within a week. I also like that they put Phosfor as the end reward before the legendary pool, so you have the slightest bit of wiggle room in your runs, and even if you can't swing a lot of the modifiers you just miss out on some rewards but as long as you get 3 reward pools you got your 2 Netracell pulses worth. I think the thing that makes people upset is that they dislike that they can't have "all the things" unless you use the randomized stuff, but I feel like the primary reward pools are for those able to do the Archemedias with whatever they want and the higher/rare pools are the extra reward for those willing to push themselves even with weird loadouts, cause lets be honest here, if given the chance, their are plenty of loadouts and stretegies in the game that make SP level cap near trival but if you use those you wouldn't be challenged.

I think it's really smart that you're allowed to get all the rewards from Elite with all but *one* modifier. I feel like that's exactly what keeps this from being genuinely too difficult to do all in one run without getting offered broken equipment, because it means even if you're only playing with one other person, one of you can switch to a defensive frame like Revenant while the other takes a stupidly-high DPS gun like the Torid, and all either of you miss out on is like... 50 vosfor, which is like less than 12-15 minutes on steel path on average.

I really wish the gear choices rotated daily, getting a whole bunch of things i dont want to use or that are gutted by the modifiers(like octavia/nova/xaku with abbreviated abilities) absolutely sucks. I didnt unlock elite until this week because i either got shit to use or there was mirror defense(which i’m not willingly playing).

I also don't usually enjoy the end-game stuff and vey high level enemies. But I'll treat it like a cherry on top. Most weeks I will do my 5 netracell runs and leave it at that. But if I get good, viable options for frames and weapons, and not the worst optional modifiers, I'll spend two pulses to do this. It's all about having fun, and if the options would turn the mission into something not fun I'd rather skip it than grind my teeth trying to do it.

Getting a dps frame is definitely gonna make this mode trivial then if you dont get a dps frame its probally gonna be hell with getting really bad waepons to use

On release I got lucky with protea, but my weapons sucked. I just spammed her abilities and kept Jumping around to Avoid as much damage as possible. Keep moving, especially in elite. Finished regular and elite in under an hour. Got really lucky and had a wisp with torid in elite. My gear was trash against demolists

It would be fine if it only included stuff from your loadout, yesterday I had terrible rolls on both frames and weapons, I was "lucky" to roll gauss as Warframe , so at least I was immune to majority of the damage types, but that meant nothing when the weapons I got were some random ass MR fodders that nobody uses.

Yeah you don't build up points over multiple runs, think of it more like a weekly high score. I think you can get randomly matched with people who picked different mutators, one of the people in my elite run was missing the knifestep debuff that the rest of us had.

I hated doing alchemy. Not because it's difficult but because for some reason the new tileset with the giant tree has one of the vents literally inside of a wall and thankfully I had primed shred on or I would have had to quit because there was no way to get to it but punchthrough shoot it through a wall.

You dont have to do the mission on regular first. I did mine on elite the first go just by meeting all the qualifications.

When I farmed for Dante in SP solo I was unlucky with rotation C rewards so I had to do quite a lot of rounds. Ended up at lvl 900 until I had enough stuff for everything. And I must say: lvl 900 Necramech demolishers are easier to kill than the Elite Archimedea Demolishers xD Also if all your weapons suck you can always use heavy weapons and or Necramechs. Also On call Crew members can be summoned and you can call for Kahl with air support as well if CLEM hits the fan.

@@BaeBunni Oh no, never meant quitting the game. Just doing Netracells is fine for me. Don't really need all the shards. I mean doing the ult boss on sanctum (the one with those 60 eyes to collect) was terrible enough.

I got extremely lucky and got Chroma for my frame, and with his newest augment it was frankly hilariously easy. I had to purposefully be playing dumb in order to die.

so you can carry other players through this but its very important they can survive so its not completely free carries, only did it as a test. i properly will attempt once a weak with my buddy without us carrying the other so i can at least feel the pain of difficulty

The Progress is Not Cumulative.... Only Your Best Run gives you the Rewards. And I believe you choose what tier of Rewards you want Ahead of time meaning... If you're Done then you're just Done with that Run.

Checking all difficulty options in Elite one does unlock a landing craft nose decorattion. An ugly one but still.

So in order: Its definitely not cumulative progress. You get your "best run" (tested this significantly cause I had a UI thing that bugged out after a host migration and it seemed like you could run the Exterminate and extract, but it corrected the next go around) Random Loadout is player specific but the negative buffs are shared by everyone (IE no one gets Operator this week) You basically hit the nail on the head with how people are handling it. 2 people take their good stuff and ignore the modifiers and carry the other two through. Then they switch around next run. Overall Thoughts: The mode is not unbeatable by any means. But as DE said in the post, this is meant to test your arsenal and require squad coordination and prepared loadouts. RNG is not "Prepared loadouts", it will literally give you choices not in your arsenal. Some of the possible mutators completely disable specific frames or build variations. Also Host Migrations completely wreck the entire idea of this mission marathon. Double up that the Sanctum or the Murmur has some glitches that make the entire game seem to lag or freeze out at times (often causing a host to abort, or the lag spike just gets you killed. Think its related to pulling abilities but not sure, usually happens around Vauban but not always. Voidrigs are horrible enemies though. They spam an invulnerability power, that scales off your damage, that also reflects your damage back to instakill you and has no counterplay (except one ability in Silence). Like they took that ability off the Demolyst ones or the Disruption would be impossible, but theres multiple possible mutators in this mode that spam necramechs or force you to not stop the spawns) Some of the modifiers do make things interesting (like the Double Demolyst one) but way too many are just a hard negative rather then engaging. Or seem poorly considered (one teleports you randomly 250m for picking up a Glyph in mirror defense at random. Invulnerable enemies unless they walk into a randomly spawning Chyrinka pillar, etc). Others are weirdly irrelevant (like the Shield one, any Shield build doesn't rely on recharge delay, they Augur/etc it). The RNG loadouts are the elephant in the room of course. No one on the forums seems too bothered about random frames (and I stream with wheel spin frame choices lol). But weapons are the big sticking point. Too many weapons really struggle to perform, and well, you can't really feasibly do 1-3 full builds a week without an excess of time on your hands. Googling numbers and haphazardly trying to math out variants and such, you've got about a 0.3% chance of gettiing any particular weapon. So if you add all your good weapons together at that much each, most players are bound to get unusuable junk. If I was a betting person, even most average endgame players might have the stuff, but probably less then a 20% chance of getting things they've actually built, and even lower for stuff that actually works together. (As mine goes, despite being LR3 and having hundreds of weapons, I got 4 options I didn't even own in the list. Bad luck is bad luck, but yeah. Mag was my best option of my three but none of the guns I got worked with her 2, etc) Circuit might be the obvious comparison, but Circuit you could force the loadout to reset, decrees constantly dump positive buffs (all the DA ones are at least trying to be penalties, if not always succesful), and progress was cumulative. Its Apples to Apples but one is a Caramel Apple and the other one is covered in poison spikes. Rewards are a little weird too. One chest is 3 guaranteed Lanthorns, and nothing else. The first chest still has regular melee arcanes in it. Down the line a Melee Arcane Adapter is considered a higher reward then a Tau Shard (it takes less time then a DA run to farm the 20 plat just speedrunning spy or deimos vaults for tradeables, probably fissures too though RNG). The Vosfor final reward is a headscratcher because 3 Acolytes is 60 Vosfor (plus possibly others if you do it in Arcane dropping missions) so 50 is honestly not great for the time investment.

All the e-flexers saying warframe is always too easy should play this elite mode. The disruption mission in elite was actually hard and quite demanding in terms of focus and management. We took 42 minutes to finally do it and it was rewarding way beyond the frankly underwhelming rewards. Which is good, because for merely an increased chace at tauforged? It is not worth the hassle to do it every week.

I don't seek levelcap/high level gameplay too, the most I do is archon hunts and netracells, never felt or saw the urge to prove my build and "talent" seeking out max levels; so to me is interesting that DE is rewarding higher level chase, if I didn't personally had reason to, now I can consider some things...as much I didn't had interest in high level play I too disliked how DE leveled and "endoed" down every single quest and piece of content to be "begginer friendly"...like with later story progress quests still keeping this mindset...

I was excited for this game mode until when I check it myself it's actually very restricting. One of my fav game is Arknights and we have similar concept game mode, a very difficult event where we can pick modifier to make the stage harder with more rewards, but even at the hardest modifier they don't restricted your units whatsoever (there are some banned class modifier but it''s rare). its about player skills in the end and I loved it. I want to try this game mode and I can't reach max modifier (in normal mode, therefore no elite) because the weapon required to do it either unbuilt properly or straight up sucks & can't kill anything. First day I got Grendel, Lavos and Excalibur. I only have Umbra, and the melee required sucks. That's not difficulty setting, that's restricting gameplay & I hate it now.

I Think you should at least do a full elite to get the sumdali. It looks interesting but otherwise yeah, the last reward level is an easy pass. Luckily I had Mag for one of my choices.

I know viral slash is superior but from my experience rad and corrosive kills the nechromechs way faster I'd give it a try at least. Idk why but they seem to be really weak to corrosion and the rad is well... Pretty rad

Mechs are weak to Corrosive, Murmur are weak to Radiation. Both resist Slash (and Viral, but you don't really want to do Viral Damage, you put in a minor amount to get Viral Status which still applies its full damage buff)

@RBRSC Go Double Check your Codex.... only the *Rogue Culverin* Mechs are Weak to Corrosive... *Rogue Voidrig* and *Rogue Bonewidow* and all their Variations are Definitely Weak to Radiation. Confirmed In Game using the Scanner and The Codex. 👀

this is a nice addition for veterans that are bored with the current stuff, personaly, im not there yet so the challenge seems unnecesary, the rewards are fine but dont feel like i need to do the challenge to get them, this will boil down to ppl just joining the mission with little restrictions and leaving the sweaty players take all the debuffs and cheese the loot that way. I have nothing to prove nor feel the need to play the thing cus im having fun with netracells and circuit right now and even the orowyrm fight is getting easier for me. when eventually i become sweaty and want to try out the thing i will do it. rn i dont care about the decoration thing and legendary arcanaes are dropping nicely in netracells now so there is no rush for me to farm those either. the mission is quite fun looking but i jsut dont feel the need to do it. and with the system that allows to get taushards, it is even more lax to farm those, so what im trying to say is that it feel redundant and has value only for those that are vets with the need for a new challenge for variety sake, outside of that, is if fine to do the other content and farm things at a more relax nonsweaty pace. oh and Inaros now feels more like inmothep than ever, mobs are having ptsd over sandstorm rn XD

Hate how many people are whining that the endgame mode doesnt let you bring your giga-kill-everything-hypernuke loadout and that its not easy solo. If you want to steamroll content solo there's just about every other activity in the game for that

This week's one ie assassination was soooo dahm hard solo .. it took me a long time to finnish and after that run i was actually tired n sore from the run .. 😂 the rewards are ok but it needs to be shards . N arcanes only .. u give up 2 netracels for chance at 3 rewards the other rewards are nothing so its ether 3 rewards or the same 2 from netracels etc .. 1 the gamd mode is harder plus u running 3 missions at one time for same rewards as 2 netracels unless u get lucky n get the 3 good rewards .. gamblers be aware of rewards .. 😊

I hate it, have only had frames that struggle to survive in Elite so not been able to clear it yet. Perhaps this last day I can. Not checked what I got yet... It feels like there are way too many modifiers and high level for having such restrictive items. Energy drain near enemies, must be near enemies to damage them, enemies explode, enemies that are invulnerable and steal health/energy when near just made it extremely unfun to try and force through. And none of those I can turn of either. It's down to luck of the draw in builds. Terrible design.
