Don't forget the extra power dice from greenskins in combat within 12" of a shaman. You'd probably get an extra two PD at 1:20:16 for the night goblins and the orcs :)

as a little bit of detail for the theme, the bishop should probably be carrying a mace rather than a sword, since men of the cloth were not supposed to "draw blood". probably a later romanticisation, but a cool thing that could be added.

Christos, have you considers to play one of your guests army! It will be interesting a swap of armies? Especially vs some of the ones you have played few times before :) Also another idea. It seems from the comments few are using your videos to learn / remember the game. So in between some of the longer games you can make some short ones on specific rules - allowing also discussions.

Great game as always! I'm afraid though that 'eadbut does need line of sight and damsels in the middle of a lance formation cannot themselves see out of the lance (i.e. can't cast magic missiles) and so by extension you cannot see the damsel. Of course when damsels then take a rock to the face this all becomes somehwhat moot in this case!

Yep aslong as the edge of the machines base and crew are on it they have benefits of it, reason being otherwise it gets to difficult to determine, your either touching it or you ain't.

Though not actually being there makes it really hard to see properly, as to me it looks like there's a Gnat's pube of those Spear Chukkas on that hill. I'd consider them behind it unless at least 50% of their base was on it personally.

A nats whisker is in this case enough haha its like how you can put a treb or Mortar crew member on the edge of a hill and the machine behind it so you can draw line of sight it's perfectly legal, appreciate if your a hard core fluff player maybe you want to play it a different way but it's within the rules.

This is what the rulebook says about hills and LoS Troops on a hill can draw a line of sight from an elevated position. To determine what me troops can see, you should get down over the table and take a model's eye view. Therefore, most of the time your troops may be able to see over troops that are on the ground below, and over other obstacles that are lower down the hill.

Rough one for the green skins! You really needed to score big on the first turns. Was thinking that going double warpath earlier might have been good? Great sports, as always, though. Don't forget the fanatics die on doubles. Would have saved you a ton of casualties ;)

Love it. Great battle report again. The poor Ld and general chaos of the O&G's really just handed victory to the Bretonnians in this one. One thing I'll point out tho - 1:29:23 the KotR should have taken a potentially crucial panic test there. Knight's Vow only gives immunity to panic caused by units with Peasant's Duty, not all friendly units (and Virtue of Noble Disdain which the BSB had only gives immunity to panic from missiles). Knights still care if other knights are fleeing! (Bret book p42). I was actually getting excited leading up to that moment cos if they had failed that test and fled the entire game may have swung on its head.

Amazing game! But stopping those bretonnians is really tough as O&G… and the greenskins are sadly lacking troops that pierce armor well. I think the only thing I would have done differently to you would have been staying back a bit more (yeah boring I know…^^) and definitely would have brought a giant and a few wolf riders for redirecting

It's too many rules to get everything 100% correctly. Unless you have somebody there helping you or a stream to correct. Your videos are a great (and consistent) quality and you even gave us bretonians which where long overdue (or second time I need to find that one). Keep it up. If you the rumors are true and Kemhri will be on the initial box of old world maybe next year you could have the Funerary Kings on your channel. Or some classic Imperium vs Orks. Keep it up!!

Just got to the bit with the fanatic and the unit of knights where they ended their failed charge on top of him, pretty sure that if a unit finishes it's movement phase on top of a fanatic then they take an extra d6 hits but then the fanatic dies?

If a friendly unit with a unit strength of 5 or more moves through the unit as part of their flee move, the unit must take a Panic test. If the test is failed, the unit will flee in the same direction as their fleeing friends, joining them in the mad rush to safety.

How does the lord flank charge the big uns the knight unit is blocking his path are they not or is it because his a large target? i feel your opponent should have allowed the chariot charge we play movement trays count. excellent battle report as always you need some wolf riders for redirecting flee reactions etc. your Orcs ignore goblin panic so you dont have to worry about them. pluys some snotlings as a speed bump and line of sight blockers

As for charging through the fantic there is nothing I have ever found regarding this but how you played it, is exactly the resolution I, and everyone I have played with have used. As soon as you touch the fanatic he pops out 1" along the same plane but in the opposite direction to travel. Failed charge units move towards the end location of the fleeing units MRB p52.

Uff! what a hard game to the O&G...very very bad luck, and very good luck in the Bretonnian side. Anyway Stos, let me give you an advice...IMHO, when you are playing against Bretonnians, you have to flee of some of their charges, or even almost every one. Standing against this amount of damage is impossible, so you declare flee, they fail the charge, and then you can charge them, maybe in the flank. In order to help this tactic to work properly, try to divide their forces, like Angus has said to you. Bretonnia has expensive troops, so he will have less units than you...divide them, ir order to maintain always a unit not fleeing and be able to counter-charge him. I think it´s not a good idea to cluster your artillery, for the same reason...he is going to get few units, so he won´t be able to attend every threat. And, finally, don´t go to meet them. Let them came. Yes, it is a little "ugly" tactic, but Bretonnia is one of the best armies in 6th, and I think is justified to be defensive against them. So...this is my advice. Try to divide their cavalry lances, put your units in pairs or trios and declare flee when being charged. Obviously, the Bretonnian player play as well, so he will try to get closer to you and cacth your fleeing unit with his charge movement, but this force him to take the risk of being carged...or maybe will play with a refused flank, but this lets you the control of "mucho" terrain ( ;-P ), and flanking him easier. Fast cavalry units, like goblin wolf riders, are very useful to "redirect" the lance cavalry as well. I hope see a new game in your channel soon!! Happy wargaming!
