Yes, Soul Link can be dispelled, however what most people don't realize is that the buff is on your pet, not on you, so in PVP if people don't check for the SL buff on your VW for instance, they wont know what spec you are.

Nice video :) but id love to point out a thing Setbonus from General's Dreadweave Pants and the pants themselves = 4 spellpower less than Fel infused leggings. but you gain 6 more stamina and 19 intellect from getting general's pants. Its really not a choice imo

Kazzak legs are Shadow Priest prio! You replace them for Bloodvine that is super easy to get in p4.

PvE : full intel PvP : full stam spell damage for weapon in any case

@@foxmulder8955 A good alternative for those who do both is just stamina, which helps with Life Taps. Not as god as int for PvE, but it still isn't as bad for other classes that benefit less from stamina in a PvE scenario.

I guess i see a difference of looking on shadow damage vs spelldamage on p2 boots. Why suddenly spell power is superior to flat shadow damage when previously it wasn't? This totally changes other bis pieces, looking for example on nemesis/fellcloth helm etc.(and maybe the strat ud helm which both gives 30 shadow/spell power)

Tips for those who want rank 14 from someone who did it in vanilla. Don't. You will end up hating pvp and that was not the intent of the system. If you're gonna be a die hard soldier and do it anyway... a few tips. Soul link is dispellable. Take it into consideration before speccing all the way into it. That's a huge amount of points into a tree that the main talent can be removed... and it will. As he said... stamina is king... it's the single most important stat over all others even DPS. As spock said.. Live long and prosper.

This is great. Thanks for posting! I have some questions though How do the PVP blue head and shoulders compare to the PVP epic ones? Since the blues have crit% while the epics don't. (edit: y because crit is more important in SM/Ruin vs SL, but I just don't know how big a difference...

TBH youre not gonna cast as much as your dots will eat them, the main pvp spec is soul link. so again, dot drain so max the spellpower and you dont really need crit

GL casting a s bolt on any melee class. you can obviously see that the main focus is preventing melee from eating you. stack stam and +damage

Why isn't spell hit valued in pve for phase 1 or 2? When a spell is resisted you do zero damage, so you would think the 3% hit we have access to right now would be welcome.

Hit rating does not have infinite value. Hit/crit/ spell pen/etc all have quantifiable values. While hit rating is indeed good for warlocks, the hit pieces available are out-valued by the gear listed in the video. For example, let's compare the hit neck to choker of the firelord. 1% hit rating is a lesser value than 34 spell power.

For PVE at around 300ish spell power and 2% hit from gear, is 1% spell crit roughly equal to 7-10 spell power? How does this weighting change as you get better gear?

Fel Infused Leggings... Arent T2 Legs in combination with the T2 Helmet the better choice. I mean, 39 spellpower + 23 from the setbonus are just 2 spellpower short of Fel Infused Leggings :s

Thanks for the video, I do wish you included a pvp list that didn't require raiding as some pvp players just don't raid. I personally also dislike the inclusion of world bosses these should probably be more of an honourable mention. The world bosses will be dominated by the top 3 guilds per server anyway.
