Thank u guys for the sweet replies, we saw the Batman and we absolutely loved it! My dad was the biggest Batman nerd ever, he always said he’d love it if I worked for DC. I made a drawing of Batman and Joker for him when I was 9 and he never took it off the fridge. He never gave up on me, bought me a ton of art supplies and everything I needed. Right now I’m working on a piece of him as Batman :) I hope he’s proud of where I am in life now.

Unfortunately they cast a much less handsome and sophisticated-looking actor to play a handsome and sophisticated character. Pattinson just looks silly as Batman. I will admit, though, playing Batman as a nutter is pretty interesting. I think it’s a Batman who would be very defined by his relationship with his version of the Joker.

I love how versatile the Batman character is. You just can't break the character. He works as a silly campy character like the Adam West or George Clooney version, he works as a dark psychologically damaged character, and he works as a gritty detective. Truth be told though, this version came the closest to what I associate with the comics. He is not just fighting prowess and gadgets, but also really smart. And, most of all, he has compassion. I love his arc in this film from "I am vengeance" to, basically "I am hope".

They’re truly trying to portray Batman as a terrifying character from the perspective of the villains in Gotham; the final shot for example is a role reversal of a typical horror trope, that being the killer walking slowly towards the car while the helpless victim waits terrified. There’s even a low angled shot of his feet which you could easily swap out for Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees and the Penguin out for a victim

Movie was a masterpiece especially the Riddler. Paul Dano did an amazing job. Here's a request from a DC fan; in the sequel of this masterpiece, please show us a villain we haven't seen in the movies yet such as Mr. Freeze, Clayface, Deathstroke, Poison ivy, etc. In short, we don't want the villains we have seen before like Raas al Ghul, Joker and Bane. @@bionecktide Dark Knight was never about Batman, it was about the villains thats why it was that good and fresh unlike anything you see nowadays other than Thanos of Marvel. Nolan doesnt like being the typical director so thats why its so fresh whatever he makes. OK enough with fan boying Nolan. Its gonna het a 6/10 on rotten tomatoes coz that place sucks and all reviews there are made by biased reviewers so yeah i see the 6/10. The 40% is kinda low though, im guessing around 60% just coz of DC fans and edgy teens coz yeah they are many. I have a bad feeling about this batman actually, its too edgy and edgy doesnt really generate alot of fans. Why? Name some notable edgy teen movies that actually broke box office. What Batman should be is a personal perspective though coz for me Ben Afflecks Batman was the closest WB got to the perfect Batman "the persona i mean and not the movie" a playboy without the mask, a tank when on a mask and when you see how buff Affleck was just resonates Knight "again thats just for me". So i have a bad feeling about this Batman but then again gotta give it a chance coz why not, maybe one day WB will finally nail Batman perfectly and actually produce a franchise that can go toe to toe with Marvel.
