Colorado lost to two elite top 10 programs, and one of those was a narrow loss. How is it being a bum to take a team that won one game a year ago, and upset the national championship runner up the next? Sure Deion is likely to drop more games. The PAC-12 is stacked.But it's not unreasonable to expect Deion could get to 6-6 or 7-5 and and appear in a bowl game. That would be a hell of a coaching job for a program that bottomed out last season and was completely turned over with the player roster with a bunch of HBCU transfers. He's likely to run off wins the next two weeks against Arizona State and Stanford before facing more big tests at UCLA and against Oregon State. Colorado will finish against Arizona and at Washington State and Utah. That's a tough slate but 6-6 and a bowl game is very possible. Does Deion have to win a natty in his first year not to be regarded as a bum by the haters?

What I don't get is why Whitlock even had a platform that had the influence to criticize someone like Coach Prime. Who made Whitlock this outspoken SPORTS WRITER, not athlete? Give a man a microphone and he will find a way to be relevant. Prime is a marketing GENIUS. This man I'd not just giving these kids football careers but he giving them the opportunity to be successful in life. He has brought a dismal football back from the brink of oblivion and made them the most talked about program in the country. What had Whitlock done? Wrote some articles? While that does take some skill it NOTHING compared to the life and career of Deion Sanders.
