Superman being greenlit without a script is abit different considering its James Gunn himself writing and directing it hes putting the pressure on himself to meet the targetted date (which was 2 1/2 years after he announced it tbf). All the negativity is just so podcasts have something say. Guardians was great and I originally had no interest in that comic book. I am just waiting for the movie to come out. Man of steal was a huge disappointment as was the entire DCEU. I did like the Bat man suit. Thought that looked great. Penguin series was fantastic. First Wonderwoman was good. The Gunn era hasn’t even begun. The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker season 1- both of which did better with audiences than most of the rest of the DCEU- were still technically under the DCEU umbrella, meaning his control was limited. Now he has a whole separate studio to run, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
