In his earlier theology, MLK denied the deity of Christ and the resurrection. It is a documented fact, especially in his Easter sermons in the late 1950's. He basically denied Bible miracles, including the Virgin birth. The resurrection of Christ is the central theme of Christianity. If Jesus was not raised from the dead, neither will Christians be raised. MLK used the bully pulpit as a means of preaching the "social and economic" gospel. He was a great orator, using homily to edify and arouse his outcast audiences, but not as Biblical doctrinal instruction. His methods were very effective. According to many theologians who studied MLK doctrine and sermons, MLK never once preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ by which we are saved (1 Cor 15: 1-4) (Romans 10: 9). He never preached the death, burial and resurrection that Paul the Apostle taught, and never recognized any of Paul's writings in the Bible. (Paul wrote half of the New Testament). MLK never recanted publicly from his earlier theology. Surely, he would have recanted and told the truth about what it takes to be saved, if he did indeed discover the truth. MLK was a great man, above Mother Teresa and Gandhi, but he was not a Christian. He was a false teacher who taught "another Gospel" and "another Jesus" (2 Cor 11: 4). A quick search on Utube will render several theologians who studied every sermon MLK preached, and examined all of his doctrines There were two black theologians who wrote several magazine and internet articles about the fact that MLK was a false teacher. Also Virgil Walker, reputable author and black pastor, investigated MLK meticulously, examining all of his public sermons and writings, and easily came to the conclusion MLK was a false teacher. Virgil's videos can be found on Utube. MLK was also highly immoral, openly committing adultery.

Barak Obama, who bailed out the banks while letting ordinary americans lose their houses during the financial crisis, never practised any form of marxism as president that i am aware of.
