DD is still my all time favorite Marvel TV property. The three seasons are all so well written and acted and directed. I was a big comic fan of DD but the series made me a bigger comic fan of DD. The cast of characters are so good. Charlie, Vincent, Elden, and Deborah are excellent.

The GHOST RIDER is a walking special effect. Unlike Blade, you have to do tons of CG to just render the character walking around. It’s gotta be more on the 100 Molly range to even look presentable.

Yeah, a 50M Ghost Rider doesn't seem like it'd make a good visual final result at all, and unlike Fall Guy, the reliance isn't supposed to be on the appeal of the actor, so I'd think they could risk a bigger budget anywhere between 90-120M. The way to go probably isn't with Goslin though, and maybe GR works better as scruffier, lesser known in an ensemble film with a lot of draws, especially if it's something like Midnight Suns that puts GR, Blade, Elsa Bloodstone, Moonknight, WnN and Manthing (cameoing Clea and Black Knight, maybe) in the same room.

I do think it's the best show and season that Marvel has done. Prior to this (at least on the animated front) I used to say that Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes was their best animated property... but this season stole that crown easily. I think this is the best show of the year, the writing was SO GOOD and I could just feel the love of the creators for the IP from everything from pulling from obscure comics to having the animations be based on their moves in the Marvel vs Capcom games... you could just feel these people understood and LOVED the X-Men and it made for a phenomenal show!

Saturday morning cartoons with my cereal and xmen, spiderman, n any other show that was on. So this is my favorite hands down but I admit! It's scratching that nostalgic itch I have. I don't think anyone gives a shit about the Young Avengers even at the height of their comic book popularity about 18 years ago and quite frankly by the time they get to it, Hailey Steinfeld will be over 30. It won't work. And they can't afford to miss anymore. They need to bench the Avengers until they do a full reboot of the MCU because they just don't work without Cap and IronMan. They should focus on the X-Men. Unless they reboot. In which case they can do the X-Men concurrently with a New Avengers team.

My thought on the best of Marvel series/shows is that you can't grade animation on the same scale as live action. For a mass audience there is a hurdle that some will just not get over when hearing a show is animated. I feel that emotion and engagement when animated is never as poignant as an equally well crafted live action moment. As much as I enjoyed this season of X-Men 97 it just cannot provide the same moments I got in WandaVision, Daredevil, Loki, Jessica Jones or even Ms. Marvel. Seeing live action drama and fighting has a different feel that resonates with an audience more than animation (again when done well, not just in general).That is not to diminish what the team that put together this revival of X-Men achieved, but an acceptance that for a random audience the show will be seen as just for kids.

One thing we have to talk about. X-Men 97 before the season trailer did not spoil huge cameos or story. Cap Shield was a in season tv spot. The MCU and DC can take notes don't spoil the movie or series to create excitement. If this was a Feige project we would know about every cameo we seen in the trailer.

XMen is the best show marvel has done. For me, I wasn’t that big of a fan of the X-Men. I’ve seen all those movies, want to read the comics but haven’t started. Didn’t watch the original animated series. To get me this hooked and this involved in x-men after just episode 1 was phenomenal, and then to continue that throughout the season was just incredible. Loki season 2 was fantastic but for me it had season 1 to build off of. Since I didn’t watch the animated series and only kinda knew some of the x-men characters before this, it did it the best. It’s my favorite show of the year as well so far, beating out Shogun, Fallout, etc

In regards to the symbiote being in Spider-Man 4, I think it would be cool for him to get the black suit near the end of that movie, and spend the next 2 Avengers films wearing it, and once we get to a Spider-Man 5, that's when we introduce Venom. I would love for them to spend a few films with Peter in the black suit to really build up that psychological battle within himself that leads to him abandoning it and Venom being born, similar to how in the 90s cartoon and 00s cartoon, we spent several episodes (therefore several weeks) with him in the suit, and not like Spider-Man 3 where Venom is shoehorned at the end of one film....

Gosling as Cyclops is perfect but I'd take him as any of the Summers brothers but I'd love to see him as Longshot, popping in as basically a combo of him in Fall Guy & Barbie. But Gosling as Richard Rider would work really well too but my top choice for Gosling is Hyperion, Marvels Superman is perfect for him; assuming Cavill is Captain Britain. If he was down to sign a 7 or 10-yr deal then Gosling as Warren Worthington III would be my 2nd-favorite choice. He could go from Angel the perfect X-Men to losing his wings &all of that drama; to him becoming Dark Angel &then we all kno what's next. But Gosling needs to get into the MCU asap

In terms of pure Marvel Studios projects and *season* quality, I rate WandaVision over X-Men '97 then Loki season 2; in terms of *endings* I think XM97 then Loki then WandaVision. In terms of show trajectory, I say XM97 ramped up to a satisfying ending (cliffhanger while still ending the season's A plot), Loki had a satisfying ending for the protagonists but not necessarily as good an end episode, and WV's crescendo was before the end, but the end episode was good enough. Each had their unique flaws, but were ultimately great as a season, but when looking at Marvel projects overall, the gold standard is still, to me, Daredevil S2, so I hope DD Born Again brings that energy.

As someone who likes the Netflix Daredevil show but doesn't think it's the greatest thing humanity has ever created like everyone else, I was always leaning towards the idea of Marvel Studios doing their own thing with Daredevil (not a Spin City comedy but something true to the character, just in a different direction than the Netflix show), since it would be under a different management, and that they shouldn't be beholden to the Netflix show. Obviously, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", but I never saw it as Marvel Studios trying to do it "better", I looked at it as them taking it in a different direction that had the Marvel Studios stamp on it but was true to the spirit of Daredevil (not the show specifically, but the character in general). Being the optimist I am, I hope it turns out well, and that they made a decision they're confident in, that satisfies not just the Netflix purists and new fans but does justice to ol' hornhead (even though I still don't believe it'll be a straight-up bonafide Season 4)....

X-Men ‘97 is up there with Daredevil, Loki, and Legion for me, but it’s too soon to say how far up that list it goes. All of those shows had more than one season and a great finale while X-Men is just restarting it’s momentum. Time will tell but I can’t wait for more.

For me it’s the best show Marvel Studios has put out on Disney Plus but I still just prefer Daredevil overall. This is actually my favourite thing Marvel Studios has put out since Infinity War, I loved NWH but had problems with the first act, I really liked Wakanda Forever but it felt too long, I loved Vol.3 but honestly sometimes the visual aspect took me out of it like the Earth scenes and there was issues I had with what makes them heroes. This show adapts January 6th, 9/11 and so on in a genius way. I think my favourite episode is still Remember It just for the fact Magneto was comforting Leach who is a young boy, under attack because of who he is and Magneto says “don’t be afraid” in German. That’s a young Magnus Magneto sees. It’s beautiful. I also love that the creator of the show responded to my tweet and also double downed on the fact that Morph is in love with Logan but knows A) Logan is straight and B) is in love with Jean so Morph knows the only way to tell Logan is to turn into Jean. It’s heartbreaking.

Daredevil, Wandavision I feel are better shows but X-men 97 is a worthy show of watching and talking about and this may revive Marvel 90s animation shows that ended too soon

When budgets go down, then you have people complaining about projects like Kenobi, and rightfully so. That’s why I’m worried about added skepticism from studios when it comes to reducing costs. Perhaps throwing all this money at projects is an act of desperation, maybe they fear they cannot make “quality” or what they consider quality content without those disproportionate figures. It’s a shame because of all the reasons Kristian often mentions concerning budgets. Reducing them will mean more movies, more profits, more variety, more engagement, but there is this other possibility that movies might actually fall from the tight rope/balancing act where the budget cuts are noticeable on screen (number of extras, anything that might be blamed on the volume for example on Marvel/SW projects, etc)

I would agree with Winston that '97 brought in some people who don't otherwise care about superheroes. I know a lot of Black and queer people who couldn't care less about comic book stuff but make an exception for the X-Men because they relate to their story
