Please consider: • TR 9 model with >5.5 cu ft capacity, agitation of the TC5, options of the TR7 • FF9 model with 5.5 cu ft, option to add 3-4 gal *more* to wash & rinse cycles, option to *soak* in 6-7 gal water with rotation every 5-10 min (e.g. 3 or 6 hr soak), steam sanitize, 1200-1400 RPM

Great washer but it’s difficult to clean the small drain holes on the bottom of the gasket when they get clogged

I just placed a order for a set just like the one in the video! But just viewed a few videos stating that they have lots of issues with there set. Hopefully I get a good set! I’m replacing a old set of GE Profile units which I loved to bad they don’t make parts for my units anymore. But I hope I love my new units I paid double the price.

We have a non-profit rescue sanctuary for geriatric, special needs and hospice dogs. We normally care for 15-20 dogs at a time and have HUGE amounts of gnarly laundry, quilts/blankets, dog beds and towels....currently have an LG Super Capacity front load direct drive WM9000HWA, it is 2 years old and we have replaced the drain pump 3 times and now it sounds like the direct drive is stripping out, likely from the constant very heavy loads. Would this machine work for us? Do you have any programs for used/refurbished/donated equipment for non-profits like us?

Yes it would u would get good use out of it because speed queen actually builds good washers unlike lg that stands for lousy garbage 🤣. U would actually want to get a speed queen washer and dryer front load. Either that or a hard mount commercial washer

I can tell you that the plan is to bring the Stainless Steel option back to our Front Load Model, unfortunately we don't have any time frame of when we will be able to do. That isn't very helpful information but I might also suggest just keeping an eye out on our website because as soon as it's back, we'll have it on there!

Hi! Our frontload washer has a 21.5 pounds maximum dry clothes load capacity. If washing large items like blankets or comforters, we’d use the Bedding cycle and add a few towels to help keep the load balanced.

Why does the FF7 have a smaller capacity of 3.5 cu. ft when compared to other brands that roughly start at 4.5 cu.ft instead?

Hi, Brian! Our washers are rated to wash the same as a 4.2 HE machine. Even though our tub is a little smaller, it fills with more water allowing you to wash a standard laundry basket of clothes. Verses larger tubbed machines that fill with less water, reducing the load size that will fit in that larger space. So, it’s less about the capacity of the tub and more about what the machines are actually capable of! 😉

@@drdarkman2000 There’s a happy middle ground between too little water and too much water. If too small of a load is in TOO MUCH water, the items are more likely to “float” around and not agitate or clean well (say for instance you put a small load in the tub and set the load size to Large). Since our smaller tub can fill with more water, a larger load than expected, for a 3.5 cu. Ft. tub, can be washed - which is why we say its comparable to a 4.2 cu. Ft. HE washer that uses less water and cannot be filled with as many items for the wash cycle.

I have this washer the FF7005WN but only stainless steel. It is amazing. Yes it’s expensive but the warranty is top notch. Cycles are fast and it spins without going off balance. I really like this washer being made in the USA. American pride! All metal parts. Buy this thing! You won’t regret it!

@SpeedQueenHome Please tell me the gallons per min (GPM) drain rate for the top load model as well as the FF7 front load model. Are they safe to use in an upper level laundry closet in a hallway area location or is their weight over the safe weight limits for upper level units?

Hi! Our washers drain at around 14-15 gallons per minute. The installation location truly depends on each individuals home. We recommend the floor be stable and stury and if its not, reinforcing the floor may be needed.

@@Kathy-dj6di We usually recommend against bulky-king sized comforters, and also recommend loading the washer more by the space items take up verses by weight. Overloading can result in excess suds which could lead to water leaks or errors. It could also result in poor wash results or excess vibrations.

These washers are the same design that are used in laundromats without coin boxes. Commercial heavy duty. To be used in your home. You can’t get a better front load washer. It don’t have 300 features you don’t need -it has the basics to get the job done.

Thanks for your response. Our capacity is 3.2 cu. ft., which is smaller than competitors. However, unlike our competitor, our machines fill all the way to the top so you can fill our machines to the very top with clothing. Our machines can fit 18 lbs of clothing (12 big thick towels or 7 pairs of jeans or Queen size comforter or King size bedding). We have more "Usable Capacity" in our smaller tub than a competitor with a bigger tub. I hope this was helpful!

Please for the love of god and all that is holy don't give your washer or dryer that little space on top and sides or the pedestal if you ever want to have it repaired you make it a pain in the a$$ for any repairman to do his job and give a higher chance of them damaging your home when removing it
