Civil rights laws are a joke... rather treated as such - *between misleading, misinterpreted n enforced* - supreme court often denies legit cases (particularly unpopular - unheard of/kept on the DL) thru injunctions, precedent, etc. Therefore denying other rights violations by referencing opinions in failed n poorly judged/misinterpreted/ biased/intentionally corrupted cases. Once one realizes The United Corruption of America n every country under UN are ultimately a rigged corporation by the world financial system/International Monetary Fund, all rights n laws are merely a facade! Masses are vastly duped under this veil, a series of traps successfully weaved into the system by elites (financial, political, religion n govt sectors) - modifying, using n disposing of whatever n whomever as needed; basically righteousness is a real shitshow!

I’m an Amazon delivery driver and I’ve had to do garage deliveries a few times. Basically I can open peoples garage doors with the app and set the package inside. Not only am I uncomfortable when I get the sense that the customers are home(or not it’s still weird) but when they already have their garage door open, the app forces me to close the garage to continue. So even though the customer wants their garage door open(because they are home, doing yard work whatever) I have to close their garage to continue. It’s a mechanic that I’ve brought up with the company who hired me(they work for Amazon) but there hasn’t been a change to it. Even if I directly hand the package to the customer, I can’t continue until I open and then close their garage door.

Ohhhh, this sounds like a great idea done in a really dumb way. It doesn't take the customer or worker safety into account properly. First suggestion: locked large mailbox outside the property. Second suggestion: keycode assigned to activate from the delivery van via satellite or similar, NOT a physical key (harder to mug someone for a van and when stolen, it's easier to find them, also protects the worker more). Third suggestion: regular route and assigned delivery area for drivers (so if someone is leaking keycodes for theft somehow, it's easier to track). Fourth suggestion: let delivery drivers take comfort breaks, give them time to rest in their shifts so they can eat, grab a coffee and go to restrooms! Fifth suggestion: if a driver hasn't made their assigned times: track traffic congestion via Google maps or similar, collate with driver data. I hope they think this through a whole lot more. I wouldn't use it.

As an Amazon delivery driver. I hate everything about this. I hate delivering to garages using the key. It sometimes doesn’t connect and tries to connect again before giving me the option to attempt regular delivery, might not seem a lot of time but when I have 170 other stop yet to do, I need all the time I can get in order to finish on time.

time is ticking till the first time the FBI forces amazon to let them in to search a suspect's house.
@bighands696 жыл бұрын
They would never use amazon for that. When they intend to enter a property they do not want people know that they are coming and if amazon knows this then the target of the warrant could become aware. That may sound silly but when they are a drug king or a kidnapper they do not want anybody to know.

@@bighands69 - Well, in the fantasy world where the govt abides by the laws they set, yes! But, unfortunately here in the real world we live in, where it sets laws as a mere veil, it's a moot point. For example, they don't need a warrant for a wiretap - any law enforcement unit can (does n has!) just setup a Stingray nearby (which is essentially a fake cell tower) n boom: they got voice CALLS, TEXTS n ALL DATA FROM EVERYONE in the vicinity of the target phone. JUST BEING WITHIN A CERTAIN RADIUS OF A SUSPECT N YOU'RE A VICTIM TOO!!!

I agree. By letting any Amazon employee into your home, you're allowing any Amazon employee free access to steal anything they feel - not just whatever diapers and t shirts are in your package

You could place it on a shed or little box no doubt, and amazon would probably allow that as an option. But a lot of people don't want a safe or shed on their porch that stands out like a wildfire.

A better amazon solution would be getting electronic mail chutes. For example, have the mail delivery person put the package in an Amazon Mail Chute (made of something that can't be burglarized easily, for example, glossy finished steel to prevent spraypaint from sticking) and every household will have a physical key to unlock the chute and a digital lock, unlocked by a code on delivery confirmation, to obtain the correct package. For those who say "a hacker can just hack the lock open", the physical key, only obtained by the household owners is the first lock security. And also, if a household attempts to hack the locks, cameras will be built into the mail chute to catch the hacker. The flaw of this is thst there's no physical safety and there's only digital safety.

I feel like this would work similarly to those electric trash cans. I can never work those things.. :/
@ConnaKai7 жыл бұрын
I see one issue though... what if it’s something large like dog food. It would be difficult to keep tabs on the sizes of boxes and if they would be compatible with your chute. Also chute installation would be costly as you would need to buy and install a new door (or wall depending where the chute is) or cut through your existing door. None of which would be very renter friendly.
@Trazynn7 жыл бұрын
Far more expensive to burglarproof it though.

Zubeyr Osman Lol Your obviously not from the united states. If you order anything from Alibaba here (if you even are able to contact the seller) and somehow are lucky enough for it to even get through US customs, It would take like a month for it to arrive, sometimes longer. However if you are buying wholesale It actually can be somewhat useful. I know this because Im a young entrepreneur and I buy Wholesale on Alibaba from time to time.
