🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 A real WASP familt lines are people who arrived in the 1600’s, sometimes 1700’s from Scotland and England. They were Puritan or Quaker and morally opposed to Slavery. They settled Massachusetts, RI, CT, VT and Maine. They NEVER owned slaves. They owned books, they treated everyone as they wished to be treated. They values Education and hard work. They did not whine. They took personal responsibility. They came to this land so they would never again be judged by their family, east their Father or Ancestors did. Hate was the chance to make your own way, become a land owner.

Also, it’s simply not accurate to say that Quaker’s, across the board, were abolitionists. Some were, some were mixed on the topic.

She feels guilty because she didn't have to work for any of what her father had. A lot of these modern leftists are like that. What's that saying? You don't know what you have until you lose it? An entire generation of spoon fed babies, whose parents sacrificed so much to provide for them, now throwing it all away. I guess they deserve what they get. Just leave the rest of us out of it, just because we share your skin color. You don't speak for me.

Why should WASP feel guilty? They're the ones who outlawed slavery... Should Arabs feel guilty for having slavery long after US (up until the 1970s and even today)

I’m a WASP he grew up in a place where men did NOT wear pin striped suits; they wore bib overalls, or a work coat if the weather was cold. They DID, however, get up at six a.m. I get sick of people acting like all white people come from a background like hers. Most do NOT. p.s. Everyone’s ancestors did both good and bad things. p.p.s. She’s melodramatic.

WASP does not describe all white people. Being WASP is about privilege and being a member of upper class. Just being white, anglo and protestant does not make you WASP.

@@matthew-dq8vk that’s a very weird question. First because I’m over 1/3 Irish. Second, I’m simply clarifying the definition of WASP. Do I need to be Hawaiian to explain what Aloha means? Russian to explain what the Red Square is? What a strange stance you have.
