All over is this option is for when you are targeting different countries as in some countries it is not allowed to run these kind of ads - corrct me if i m wrong

it is so dumb. i am a realtor and have listings i would like to advertise on FB and theres no reason to be advertising homes to people 18-28years old. thats why linked in is the move for me

My ads keep getting rejected because they are coming up as employment but its not employment. I teach smalll business owners how to hire remotely. Selecting employment would completely mess up my targeting as it would go in front of job seekers not business owners looking to hire. It is an extremely frustrating feature, I feel they need the algorithm to be smarter if they want this as a feature. What would your suggestion be in this case? There is no point in running ads if they are going in front of the wrong people!

We fall in housing category and our client wants targeting area to be just 5 miles is it possible since the minimum i can see it's 15 miles

Thank you for your video. I am having a lot of trouble. I don't know why i am not being given the option to choose a category. The toggle down is grayed out, and it says no options available. Regulations such as Housing were made for the United States, but when I put locations outside the USA it tells me that this category only applies to that country. And when I do not specify that it is a housing campaign and I even choose a different country, they reject my ad because they say that it is part of the special categories of Ads. How do I get out of this mess?

I hope someone can help me here. If a ad is a directly sale of a new house, i obviously assume that it should be listed as a ''Housing'' category. However, if we are running Top Funnel ads, where we are trying to show awareness and maybe gather some leads of people who want to sell their house or maybe need advice to before buying a house they already found. Should that also be listed as a ''Housing'' category??

hi ben you gotta help. it says my ad was rejected for "housing" but when i go to account quality, it says its rejected for "social issues, elections, politics". is this just a problem with the algorithm? my ad has nothing to do with either and the only reason its rejected is because i put "real estate" in the copy but no matter how many times i request a review the results are unchanged.

Hi, I’m from INDIA, If I confirm my advertiser ID under special ads category(Running ads on social issues, elections or politics) can I run ads about social issues on Facebook/Instagram in USA location ? Or anywhere in that world ? Or am I restricted to running ADs in my primary location (INDIA ) where my ID is confirmed by facebook? Or do I have to confirm IDs in countries that I want to run ads which I won’t be able to.

You are very welcome. Adding extra interests shouldn't impact cost of advertising much - but it probably will have an impact on campaign performance.

I just found this on Facebook, this is not a comprehensive list of examples and does not constitute legal advice. The credit, employment and housing opportunities or related services requirements apply to advertisers based in or targeting the US and targeting Canada. Does this mean in the UK we get away with advertising these topics and not selecting the special ads category. Thanks.

How about this situation. I have a friend who is a real estate agent. I have a marketing agency and I run ads for others. He gave me permission to do ads for him. If I select option housing( special ad) Facebook don't let me to create ads. If I do not select option I can create. My friend can do ads selecting special ad category. Hi Alex, it's odd that you aren't able to advertise within a special ad category. I would certainly select it. Is it because the ad account if new? Or have you not verified your Business Manager account?

@@BenHeath I did BM verification. Probably because I created account back to july and it is new. But still no sense. My friend was createing the account after I did and he can run witout problem this types of ads

My business page had multiple reviews and a 5.0 rating and then one day it just stopped showing and now I have a 0 out of 0 rating…FB has yet to reply to my questioning…. I try not to cover everything in each video because that would make them all far too long. Instead I have separate videos on location targeting.
