She was darling, and so was her shop. It would be fun to be able to make soap like that. Thank you for the video, Kate. I am working on a jigsaw myself. I love Ravensburger puzzles. Mime is a 500 piece with cats and dogs all the way around. I have my border finished and I reward myself with time with the puzzle. Today was a lovely day. I have Wednesdays off. My dog and I took 2 walks, I visited with a 2. friends over the phone, worked a bit in my yard, and did a few things to plan for tomorrow's work day. I am a healthcare worker in the US. It is scary because we don't have enough tests. I find your take care chats to be so wonderful. They make my day and reminded me that when my hands are working, my mind isn't worrying as much. After I heard you say that last week I started the puzzle that I had been saving. I love jigsaw puzzles. I hope that you are successful in keeping the cats away from your puzzle. when I had cats they would steal pieces, and they would also play with pieces that would then fall off the table, and they would play with them until they were under furniture, or a rug, and basically gone as far as I was concerned. I would then have a puzzle with a few pieces missing in the end.

I visited my mother (82) today for a chat , a cake and we had a nice walk in the sunshine. She quit all of her social contacts, but she's very well. She did all spring-cleaning last week. I didn't know there's Mother's Day in Great Britain today. In Germany our mother's day is second Sunday in May. I hope every self-isolation will be quit until then.

Ravensburger Jigsaws are the best. My grandmother visited us once a year. She loved doing jigsaws and she took us to a toyshop to choose a jigsaw. I still like to make jigsaws until today and making a quilt reminds me of making a jigsaw. It reminds me of my youth in the 60's./70's Love from Germany sitting on the limegreen sofa.

Happy mother's day to and a happy next day of you life. I had made soap with lye and lard which is harsh until it had aged a long time. The color and scents were just hints now. My mother was hoarding a small piece that I didn't even know she had and something happened to her sliver. When she found out I had made it she was happy. When I brought out the rest of what I had, several bars, she was over the moon. There was no more hoarding for her. I have no idea how long she used it because she only washed her face with it but it made her happy.

My husband died last June. His birthday was 17 March. At home, isolated, and missing him. But my lovely son sent me a big bouquet of sunshine yellow flowers on Brian’s birthday with a little note saying “I know you will be sad today but hope the early Mother’s Day gift will cheer you up”. It did.

Thanks Katie ,that was really nice to watch and the scent must be amazing.the three that she put in your soaps LOVE all three separately I can only imagine how wonderful they smell together . I m just back in Washington state from spending the winter in the Scottish Highlands , sadly they shut the door behind me and not in front of me. My hope is that all this world wide mess is over ASAP. I got sick a few days after arriving home and that made me a bit nervous,no test in my area .but I'm staying away from people just in case it wasn't just a cold . really enjoying your videos on the daily and Arrne and Carlos doing the same ,they crack me up ,you I just want to give a hug and hang out with ..so here is a virtual hug for you 🙆 💜 .

Kate!! I didn’t know you liked puzzling! I usually have a puzzle table set up in our family room all winter and take it down the first day of spring. With our social isolation I’ve extended my puzzle time. I’ll keep it up for the duration. It’s such a welcome distraction.

Hey youtubers , lets get sewing something positive! We can use cotton from our cabbage patch to sew simple (approximately 5"x7")masks which can/should be modified to fit over nose and mouth. I have added elastic to gather the long sides (over nose/ under chin) then added ties which also run from long edges to behind the head and neck. They can be washed in hot water so make several for each person so they can have one in the wash one drying and one on. :D

I wish I could work on thst HP puzzle with you. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs, so puzzles are a rare luxury here! I adore handmade soaps.
