I feed my dogs homemade raw. I have a 60lb rescue and 5 dachshunds ranging from like 12-21lbs. I feed all of my dogs fresh homemade raw for about 20$ a week. This stuff is too expensive for me to want to switch. Not to mention I assume you put it in your dogs bowl frozen and let it sit till it thaws. Instead of thawing the entire bag or serving it frozen. For those wondering Here’s how I feed my dogs I have a raw co op I get my meat from and also I use Walmart. The co ops prices range about a dollar per lb. Roughly once a week I thaw out a 10-15lb chunk of meat. I put it in a small tote I bought and I mix in random stuff like oats, rice, potatoes, squash, broccoli, peas, carrots, spinach, apple, blueberries, ect. Usually I’ll pick one grain or carb and 1 veg and 1 fruit. And then either sardines or salmon and eggs and pumpkin. I leave the mixture in my fridge and it lasts all week. I scoop as needed into their bowls. The meat mixtures I buy usually have the organ meat. And sometimes I’ll grind up chicken feet or make bone broth or I do use a synthetic vitamin sometimes when I don’t have that organ content. I never make the recipe the same. It’s always different.

Was disappointed when I found out they don't ship to Canada either. Good thing I found a freeze-dried version that's similar to this (visible ingredients type) that's a local company! And they're also transparent so that's a plus 👌

Months ago when I looked into Maev and I arrived at the same conclusions. I was unable to do a deep dive into ingredients, nor the sourcing of their ingredients. Human grade? Yes, but it just says the sources are from the US and other countries. There are meats that are human grade that I wouldn’t eat! It’s a NO for me. Also, I don’t want to feed my dog frozen cubes of meat and veggies, not do I want to wait around for it to defrost.

I can’t afford Maev dog food my dogs eat Sunday’s but I want stop buying Sunday’s because they use synthetic. I found YumWoof dog food it’s the best dog food I’ve seen. I also got some Jack’s Premium dog food it has synthetic pack like Sunday’s does. I just want to try it to see if they like it I got chicken formula. Yumwoof has great customer service I have asked about several dog foods they give me a report on the other dog food. I got every flavor they make the chicken and beef are nice big chunks of dog food the meat lover’s turkey and fish are smaller kibble they don’t use salmon either they use whole fresh sardines and fresh whole anchovies they don’t use any plant oils in there food they use coconut oil no synthetic at all in there food. My dogs like the fish the best. It’s not cheap food it’s kinda costly for my budget. But my dachshunds come first I don’t have kids I’m disabled if you want an awesome dog food buy YumWoof you won’t be disappointed.

Just found this video and enjoy this video. It sounds like this might be one in a series, so i will definitely be looking at your other videos. As we are looking into different foods, including frozen, raw, and cooked foods. As our pup gets closer to 2 years (shes super active and we decided to keep her in puppy food until she was 2 years. For the added fat and minerals,) thanks for being a alpart of pur research, super helpful Also, i find the ice cube things weird. As making bone broth jelly treats is something I scratch made when my pup was really young and still had a super sensitive stomach. All of those treats turned out a sort of amberish color. Why are these ones white?

If the peanut butter isn't organic I don't feed it to my dogs and they don't get it very often. So for that reason alone I would never buy this product... besides the fact that I couldn't afford it. It's cheaper for me to make their food and making it myself I can include mostly organic ingredients.

What the heck? I wouldn't feed dog food in a frozen state to any dog. Mine are elderly Shih Tzu. Their sense of smell is diminished, one is blind and deaf; so he depends upon his nose to guide him, and their dentetion is typical Shih Tzu: Not great to pretty bad. Why would anyone feed their dogs food which they cannot smell and have a massively reduced flavor profile due to being frozen? For the cost, feeding dogs healthy raw or cooked food is much less expensive and sensible.
