Dude, I'm glad you're here and glad you're making the videos you do. 100% agree, that there is a perception of KZbin being a quick fix to success, and there is plenty of KZbinrs that will tell you that... And I wish I had the answer, but we're a channel with less than 200subs... We've made near 30 video podcasts, promoting men's mental health, and the way we look at the metrics now is, If you count the amount of views as people and put them all in a room... how would it look?, what impact would you feel like you've made?, and for us... thats enough to keep us going. I know the metrics don't match up entirely, but thats how we look at it, lol :D Love your content, keeping doing it :)

This sounds exactly like my situation. I am going to hit 100k subs soon (within months) and I am working cooperate and do not like it. This will be the first month I make more money than I do from my full time job with just youtube. I want to take that jump but I don't know.. I think I need more time and proof that this can work and at least guard rails to be not so worried about money for at least three months if I am going to do this.. Thank you for sharing your insight.
