I've been using a 40v Ryobi pushmower for 10 years. Bought it for the office cuz I could stick it in the closet. No gas, no oil to worry about. Liked it so much got one for the house.

Even when you aren't building something, your videos are always well done and interesting to watch. I have always used Toro since the first mower my dad had me pushing when I was a kid and they have proven to be the best. This is a great comparison and I am impressed with the Badger after seeing some of the things you pointed out. I hope you get the attention of the Robot Lawn Mower companies, perhaps enough comments with the key words in it will help. We have a robot vacuum and though it is not as thorough as me, it is useful for keeping cleanup more regular. A good Robot Lawn Mower would be amazing if it has enough safety features to see if something in the way, like a kid's toy or something that would normally get picked up before mowing. Can't wait to see you compare one. Cheers!

Just sold my 30 year old constantly used Briggs n Stratton a few months ago when my neighbor gave me a Worx battery lawnmower. Works good for the average size yard I have (I only have grass in front yard). Was nice to ditch the gas and maintenance 😆 I'm just afraid these will all be throw aways now whenever something breaks on them. But I'd guess they can be serviced like pretty much anything PS- use a grinder to sharpen blade, thats how I do it now. File takes forever to get real nice edge even when you take blade off. Ohh and change your oil!!! 🤣

I have what appears to be the same Toro that you have except that I have the 60-volt battery version and have had it for 4 years. I haven't experienced any battery degradation, and it is the best mower I've ever had (been cutting grass for 40+ years). I don't miss the fumes, gas, oil changes, etc. and being able to fold it up against the wall is also a plus. I still have my old gas-powered Honda mower to collect leaves in the fall but don't use that for anything else these days because the Toro is fantastic.

Been using an electric mower for about 4 years now. Used it to mow a 1/4 acre at my old place. Never going back to gas mowers.

I kind of feel the same way. It works better then I expected. Just as good as my gas one.
@RipHammer3004 ай бұрын
They seem to work just as well as gas ones, but they are quiet and are always ready to go. No having to gas it up or stabilize fuel or anything. The only thing to worry about is finding a replacement battery when they no longer hold a charge and you need to replace them. They need to make a US standard battery connection for stuff like this.

Toro 60v commercial is what I use. Best battery operated 21" mower on the market.

I want the robot lawn mower too. I have 3.5 acres but maybe a 1/3 to a 1/2 of that is mowable lawn. Takes me little less than 2 hrs to mow with a sub compact tractor with a 54" deck. Would be nice when I am super busy just to let a robot go so I can spend that 2 hrs doing other things. Even if I could program it to do all the trimming around trees and getting into tough spots I have to do with a weed eater. That could probably knock an hour off my mowing.

Bought an Ego 56v self propelled mower from Lowe’s on sale. Cost less than your badger. I would say it folds and stores much easier than your badger. Plenty of power from my Bermuda grass. Bag it up and the horses love it! HandyOn!

I'll pit my 62V Green Machine 22" self-propelled versus your gas Toro or your electric Badger (must me marketed for Wisconsin buyers........) I got the Green Machine mower, a Green Machine String Trimmer, a Green Machine 640 cfm blower, 3 batteries and 2 chargers from Home Depot on-line, all for around $640. Sold my gas equipment for $175, so my total investment wasn't all that much.

If you're going to go electric, try to match your mower and weed eater brand to the same brand of power tools you have. Then you can use the batteries in all of em.
@remodz63855 ай бұрын
No. Most tool platforms are 18/20v…you can’t mow much on a 20v battery. You need a 40v minimum for outdoor equipment. 80v preferably

Question for you handyman, I have been looking into getting an electric lawn mower, but I see this one comes with two 4 amp hour batteries. My question is, will the super charger charge the dead battery up in time while the other is running. Claims 44 minutes per battery, so will the super charger get the other charged in that time?

I'm not sure, I will test the battery charge time this week.
