I was that kid at 14 yrs old - words are not enough!!!!! Saw them live twice in Liverpool 1974 and 1975 just magical 🤩

I remember buying the vinyl at 13 yrs old and it blew my mind. The first three Queen albums are masterpieces of rock as only Queen can play it.

Brian May’s best guitar work came in the first three albums…..that was before the mainstream rock enthusiasts knew who Queen was….unfortunately Queen went the sell out route with all the other albums….Fat Bottom Girls, Ride My Bicycle…..and the like…what a joke those songs were….

You need to react to White Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975. Do the live first. This is absolutely the best performance of this song. Do Somebody to Love lives at Montreal 1981. This is different from the studio version so both are good and need to be watched.

Not a bad song for their first album.If you don’t know MARCH OF THE BLACK QUEEN that is the precursor to Bohemian Rhapsody. It’s Freddie’s coming out song to himself whereas BR is him singing to his mother.

Live is so much better...you'll see. This is one of my favorite Queen songs. I can listen to Queen all day long so if you want to do more Queen, I will show up to listen. Every member of Queen wrote songs and they each had number 1 songs also. I think they are the only band to do that. Thank you for your reaction.

This first album is unique cuz it's not bad sounding, but it's still on the way to being Queen as we all know them now, today. It's kinda unpolished, not in a bad way. I will leave a like for any Queen song you post😂

Yes, always do the studio first. Please do the full album. You'll want to do the next one, and the next one. :) I was that kid, many time I fell asleep to this album. Crazy dreams! lol. Really looking forward to more Queen, loads to choose from, they were the first ever Rock group to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. They all penned hits.

I was that kid! As I remember it, I had bought Roxy Music's first album and my brother bought this one with Queen. Roxy Music, with Eno, had the latest of odd new sounds with Moog etc. Queen, I think, had some declaration printed that only ordinary instruments was used. But with their voices (and guitar play) they brought a new sound. "Liar" was the best Queen song for me through the 70s. Bohemian and the other was not exposed to me until KZbin arrived!

You think this is good wait for the live. It was so nice to see John singing with Freddie, apparently it took some arm twisting. This was written by Freddie quite a while before Queen was formed John looked so young he was only 19 when he joined. They all wrote hits for the band. I've been a fan since 1971. You really need to go back and watch the video to Bohemian Rhapsody! I understand wanting to listen to studio first but the video is really the first music video that was ever made before music video's were a thing. Early 70's Queen was the very best, IMO.
