For me that twisting machine at the end is jigsaws most messed up trap. You guys acted appropriately lol unfortunately I've seen worse: "I spit on your grave" movies make saw look like Disney land by comparison if you watch those bring your blanket your chocolate, every thing of power you need. You both would be in for crazy movies. But with women serving justice so you may like it.

Amanda is the best character in the franchise for me, in Saw X after seeing what Dr. Cecilia did to Jhon and did to several people, she realized that no one changed and that's why she did her tests that way, Amanda and Jhon have the best relationship in this franchise and without them it lost all meaning!

36:30 fun fact that “The Rack” was the trap that John was drawing in his sketchbook in Saw X. The device around the head in the sketch was different from the reverse bear-trap trademark one. But man, that was the one trap that John almost decided to do away with, since he almost threw away the sketch. Had Cecilia and the others not scammed him, he might’ve changed a bit and not actually made this trap, but I suppose Cecilia’s lack of humanity solidified the belief in his mind that some people deserve agony in their final moments. I guess…he at least got to end up using his favorite trap before he died…? Yeah I’m sorry, I can’t find some silver lining in that

OKAY so mother amanda's deal here with rigging the traps stems more from her losing faith in john than from personal malice. we see her begin to doubt his philosophy in saw x when, out of anybody, cecilia goes on to survive and get away, while the most innocent of the victims, gabriela, died brutally. amanda also begins to realize that she's not /fixed/, like john had promised she would be. yeah, she stopped doing drugs, but she swapped to new sins - self harm. she's fully aware that she's still not okay, and she's supposed to be jigsaw's poster child for survivors - people who survived and grew better. except, she didnt get better. she got worse - and its no wonder. she's a mentally unstable woman coerced into doing murder with a cancer patient that becomes not just a father figure to her, but a religious figure. somebody to prove herself to. in the end, she realizes that if SHE wasnt fixed, then nobody would be. after all, eric matthews was the same man he was before his trap. so, instead of letting people survive, she made sure they'd all die. shes such a guilt and grief and PTSD ridden character, and we see that with her flashbacks to adam and the original bathroom trap - the first trap she worked on with john, essentially signing her life away to him.

Yeah there's a reason why. Amanda refused to let Lynn out and it's not what we're supposed to think at this point. It was actually what she read in that box and you will find out what it said later. I don't remember what movie number it's in, but it's a secret about her that somebody else knew that wanted Lynn dead

We didn’t find out what Amanda’s letter said until 3 movies later. But I still think they did Amanda dirty, she was supposed to carry on the next movies.

It's not confirmed in any source material and I have no evidence to back it up, but taking into account where Troy's trap is taking place, a classroom, the teddy bear attached to the bomb and he is stripped down to his undies.... He could have committed some kind of child related offense. And maybe the studio couldn't make so cut and clear. Of course this is just speculation from the clues surrounding the trap but it would also explain why Troy's trap was an execution rather than a test. I can't imagine Amanda has much mercy for offenders of that nature.

At least he tried to save the people in his test immediately. Jeff waited until they were halfway tortured to try and save them. Jeff only managed to save one person during his test and even that guy died. True, Bobby wasn’t able to save anyone during his test, but at least he wasn’t slow as ass.

Not going to lie the first three. Make a nice trilogy 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. They're good follow-ups but I have trouble remembering what happened in what. 10 is fanfuckingtastic but you have to earn it. You have to watch the other ones first cuz there's stuff you need to learn

The good news is I think Saw 3 is the overall grossest one. Obviously there’s gross and upsetting things in pretty much all of them, but 3 is the most grisly overall, so you got through that.

I love Jigsaw when he was in control of his physical faculties because he basically was in mentor/heir choosing mode and she was a mere student, doing as she was told. Not until John got so sick he was bed bound did she really show her true colors that of a simple murderer. He tested her and she failed miserably. Honestly I wish jigsaw would have just had an honest conversation with her about why she doesn’t want them to win traps. It could have saved several lives. But Jigsaw had to be all clever and demented with his games. I love jigsaw for how complicated he is.
