There was a polish crabcore band called "eris is my homegirl" which enjoyed some overnight fame back in 2011, after appearing on a TV talent show. It was quite surreal to see it on TV, not only such heavy music but crabcore/ trancecore of all things. They even played live at the countrys new years eve concert. The result of which was breakdowns and inhale squeals being performed to an absolutely huge audience which I personally find unreal to this very day. You can check all this out on youtube. I think their best song is called trollin. In conclusion this band had some seriously good songs but ultimately never received any of the international fame that they could have got if only the crabcore trend had stayed in fashion for a couple more years.

You should look into misery signals more, they’re a great band and their story is just.. wow. RIP Jordan Wodehouse and Daniel Langlois. ❤🔪 And yeah Andy was friends with them and the guitarist (Ryan Morgan) was in a band with him called burning masses. Patrick even did a song with them on their mirrors album. Also, speaking of Patrick, you should check out the song jock powerviolence by a band called weekend nachos. Legendary song and Patrick’s verse is the hardest I’ve ever heard him get, vocally.

its funny that you recall this video as the "Jason" interview because I remember it as the "Yaoi" interview. She was such a representation of those problematic straight girls who oversexualized gay men in that era. The video is more bizarre because she as THE INTERVIEWER made it so dirty. I also think the thing with Pete and saying he was kinda gay came from the fact that he probably got called gay as an insult so many times, he reclaimed it. He doesn't do it so much anymore because it is a bit insensitive and also the kind of joke you eventually grow out of making but with all that FOB has done for the queer community, I personally would let it slide if Pete still made those jokes around me.
