@@SuperSireBoyYT the issue is that Dragon Ball Z's story so closely connects one arc to another that it leaves so little room for side stories (which the movies basically are) to take place At all times, Goku is either busy fighting, dead, off world, or in the process of going to go do one of those 3. You'd have to either BS Goku back to life, have the story take place on, like, Namek or Yardrat, which would have so many issues in of itself, or just tell the story at the exact same time that Goku is, like, planning to go to Namek (in which case why would he wait to go to Namek in order to go on a camping trip or whatever?) or do some other dumb thing to somehow fit it in Goku is just constantly too busy in the story for side stories to fit in. Only exception is, like, when they're training for the androids

Turles didn’t go big monkey mode because he blew up the fake moon he made. Also, the ending isn’t as bad as you were saying it was, and I might be murdered for saying this, but it makes sense. Turles had nearly won, using the tree of might to destroy goku in a fight, leaving him on the ground near death. But, right as goku has nearly given up hope, he sees all the energy inside of the tree of might, and realizes the only way to defeat Turles, is to beat him at his own game. Turles had used the power of the tree for evil, but he hadn’t fully weaponized the entire tree yet. He’d only used 2 fruit. Goku, on the other hand, uses the entire tree’s energy to create a spirit bomb so powerful it is capable of putting both Turles, and the tree itself to rest. He uses it for good. That was the difference between them, goku is Turles, but good, and Turles is goku but bad, their one in the same in a way, but completely different in another. Turles looks like goku because he’s meant to be the result of a goku that had never bumped his head.

Nah it wasn't the actual 'Power of Nature' Goku was just bein Goku. The Tree Of Might took all the energy of Earth, and compressed them into the fruit, which allowed Turles to Power up. Considering that they mentioned the Senzu plant withering away in the future Trunks timeline and do nothing about it even though they had some spare Senzu beans left, I think the implication is that the plant is something magically irreplaceable and that the beans themselves are just byproducts that can't be further cultivated into anything. My personal headcanon is that the earth guardian before Kami was the one who originally cultivated the senzu plant and taught Korin how to tend to it, considering how Korin has some sort of unexplained history between his tower and the lookout. Korin may perhaps know how to make more but lacks the ability to do so, or maybe he just only knows how to take care of it

Nah man sorry but you aren't cooking about the ending. Saiyan Saga and Frieza Saga established that Goku can make spirit bombs out of non-sapient life energy, be it animals or plants. You can't fault the movie for thinking the same can apply to the tree of might, the tree that stores the life energy of the ENTIRE Earth. Which also explains why Turles gets one shot by it. Turles eats one entire fruit out of the entire tree, each fruit stores part of this gathered life energy. Goku literally says "Alright, imma draw out the life energy of the entire tree and use it against you" which logically would overpower Turles, who I REPEAT, only ate one entire fruit by the time it happens. In simple words: All of the Tree of Might > Turles after one fruit. Hell in even simpler terms, Goku just did what you said you'd do earlier in the movie with extra steps: 33:20 If we want to whine about Lorax "I am one with nature" Goku, we gotta blame the main show for making him have that ability in the first place, and the dub company for making him a Superman "I love nature" wannabe.

Ya the movies are alternate universe/ alternate timelines. It doesn't work in the main time line. Because it would have to happen after piccolo kidnaps and trains gohan even if we ignore the kaioken. During that time goku is dead. When goku is alive piccolo and several of the other characters are dead. If this happens after freeza the question is where is super sayain and where is Vegeta? So essentially this is a what if time line where goku got back in time to face nappa and vegeta and no one else died and where the strongest freeza soldier and saiyan warrior was turles.
