One of the reasons I so enjoy your videos so much is that you talk to us while you color. I enjoy hearing about what you are doing and about the stories you tell us. I know it must be more work than putting music on while you show us what you are doing - so thank you! Beautiful card, great info about the watercolors, and photography. I only photograph my cards so that I'll have a record of what I did (and what I gave to whom), but you inspire me to kick it up a notch. Thanks!

Hi Kelly, flower i know how much you LOVE doing your black line outlining to bring things to live for you but this hydrangea picture is so beautiful, so pretty. I love how it is not a guess me watercolour but a real one that you can see the beautiful flower as it is suppose to be. I love watching and listening to you and yes laugh at some of the funnies that you come out with, so thank you flower for an absolutely stunning (it is to me before you start shouting at what i have written) picture that could and would be up on my wall for me to look at every day. Look forward to your next project flower and please can we have some more works like this, please? x

WOW!!! That might have been the best water coloring video I've seen. Totally stunning piece, first of all; but in addition, you explained so well and just kept it real (so appreciated). If you weren't thrilled with how it looked, you said as much. I'll be watching this video again for sure (maybe not at 1 in the morning though). Thanks so much.

Kelly, this may be way more info than you want, but exposure in photography is actually a combination of shutter speed, aperture (f-stop), & ISO. I don't know how the Coolpix cameras are as to settings, never having used one (I assume it's a point-and-shoot?). But since you said the photo of this card got too dark in your lightbox when you changed the shutter speed, I wonder if maybe the ISO or aperture needed adjusting, too? I generally keep my ISO set to 200, which seems to do well for most general shooting, even with my cards. I also shoot with artificial light (60 watt bulb) in my homemade "lightbox." (Really just a 3 sided box plus bottom made from foamcore board, that I have 12x12" scrapbook paper clipped to the back panel. No additional lighting involved.) I have my aperture set to f/5.6, to make the background blur slightly, and shutter speed around 1/1.3 to 1/1.6 seconds. I have noticed, though, if I have a really light card, I have to take the speed to maybe 1/2 second or a little more to get a good exposure. Anyway, I don't know how patient you are, but I'd encourage you (if you're so inclined) to try adjusting different settings if you have trouble with your photos. I do love how this card came out, at any rate! Lots of fun watching you paint, and you achieved such great results. Tfs! :)
