Hi Dave and Dawn, yes it was bound to happen I’ve had a camera in my hand for 40 years this year so wasn’t going to take long to get one, it is nice up there I enjoy the Lake District I’m hoping to get there a few times this year, have a great weekend and thank you for watching

Happy new year Tom! So how did the focus peaking work out for you? This past London/Paris trip was my first big trip with the Canon R5 and I used focus peaking a fair bit, but it seems every shot I used that on wasn't in as good of focus as I would've liked. I did way better just using autofocus. Might be time to get my eyes checked. 😆

Happy new year Derek, actually it worked out pretty well but I think I’ll be getting an auto focus lens for it eventually but I do find Sony focus peaking to be very accurate, I’ve since figured out how to zoom in for focusing to, I would love an R5 but it’s a little out of budget at the moment and I’ve not yet decided what to do camera wise in the long term I do like how light the a6300 is but will need to update it as soon as I can.
