Thank you! I also didn't like the maui moisture shampoo or conditioner. My hair was really dry after using them. I have the shea moisture protein mask & my hair loves it!

I have the same hair type as you and I just bought the Shea Moisturizer 100% Virgin Coconut Oil shampoo and conditioner. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw that go in the S tier lmao. Do you like any Shea Moisture stylers?

I guess I’m in the minority, but I don’t notice any significant improvement from Olaplex #3. I’ve given myself 4 treatments spaced one week apart. My hair gets softer after a treatment, almost too soft. Any suggestions? Thank you. Good video.

It’s really good for like significantly damaged hair, I use it after bleaching to restore it but other then that it also doesn’t do much for me anymore. Your hair might also be getting weighed down by the oils in it which might explain the too soft feeling.

i had the same issue with maui moisture as well :o i wonder if i try their products with a shampoo brush if itll cleanse better?

When I was using Maui moisture I was using a shampoo brush but I guess the surfactants just weren’t doing it for me

Why do I never hear about mixed chicks? I love their stuff. Their cowash cleans my scalp so well, leave my hair feeling shiny & hydrated. Better than the NYM shampoos that lather a ton... they don’t clean my scalp or head even tho they dry my hair a lot & seem to be working well.

NYM isn’t available in Canada but I personally haven’t tried anything from mixed chicks since their product availability is very limited here and appears to be best suited for tighter curl patterns.

I’ve only used their mousse, air dry cream, leave in and at one point used their coconut oil hair serum, they’re not bad for drugstore products

It gets the job done if you just need a moisturizing conditioner but I wouldn’t go as far as to say it works as well as a straight up deep conditioning hair mask

I use the large hair food tubs as an in shower mask/wash out conditioner and it is a fab cheap option. Pretty sure the ingredients on the large tubs and minis are very similar (e.g. the banana one is identical to the large version).
